Roget Romain
Roget M. Romain (born September 7, 1966) is an American executive, producer, entertainment manager and entrepreneur. As a record executive for over 15 years, Romain worked with some of music’s top artists and has 8 RIAA certified gold and platinum plaques to his credit. In recent years, Romain has formed and developed several web-based corporations that specialize in media optimization, branding, online marketing, music and entertainment. He is best known for introducing Adina Howard to the music scene. Early years Roget Romain was born in Brooklyn, New York, to Marie Beaulieu Romain and Roger Romain. His mother was a nurse who raised him and his sister. He got his start in the entertainment business when he was befriended by Doug E. Fresh. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is a trade organization that represents the music recording industry in the United States. Its members consist of record labels and distributors that the RIAA says "create, manufacture, and/or distribute approximately 85% of all legally sold recorded music in the United States". Robin Stone (born April 27, 1962) is an American singer and songwriter, who scored success in the 1990s with such house music singles as "Show Me Love (Robin S. song), Show Me Love" (which was her debut single) and "Luv 4 Luv". Rozell Manely Brown (born October 6, 1964) is an American beatboxer and rapper, formerly a member of the Roots. After 7 is an American R&B group founded in 1987 by brothers Melvin and Kevon Edmonds, and their friend Keith Mitchell. The Edmonds brothers are the older siblings of pop/R&B singer-songwriter and record producer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, who named the group and helped them get a record deal with Virgin Records in 1988. After 7 released their platinum-selling self-titled debut album in 1989, which spawned three singles " Heat of the Moment", " Ready or Not" and " Can't Stop".
