Rodrigo Marta
Rodrigo Marta (born 18 November 1999) is a Portuguese rugby union player. He currently plays for Colomiers in the French Pro D2. He is Portugal's record try scorer with 25 tries in 29 caps. Career In 2021 he was named part of the Lusitanos XV squad for the inaugural Rugby Europe Super Cup. The Lusitanos came in 2nd place falling short against the Black Lion in the final. He joined French Nationale 1 side US Dax in 2022 where he is currently leading the Nationale 1 try scoring table with 10 tries in 13 games. He signed a 3-year contract with ProD2 side US Colomiers from 2023 to 2026, joining fellow Portuguese teammate Jose Lima. International career Marta made his international debut coming off the bench in the 40th minute in the 2017–18 Rugby Europe International Championships promotion match against Romania. 2023 Rugby World Cup – Regional Play-off And Final Qualification Tournament
The 2023 Rugby World Cup regional play-off and Final Qualification Tournament were the final two stages of the qualifying process for the 2023 Rugby World Cup. A cross-regional play-off match determined the Asia/Pacific play-off winner berth, after which a global repechage tournament between four teams (Africa 2, Americas 3, Europe 3 and the loser of the Asia/Pacific play-off) decided the twentieth and final team qualifying for the 2023 Rugby World Cup. The Campeonato Nacional de Rugby Divisão de Honra (more commonly known as the Divisão de Honra) is Portugal's top level professional men's rugby union competition. The Divisão de Honra Championships are organised by the Federação Portuguesa de Rugby (Portuguese Rugby Federation) and currently consists of 12 teams. The 2018–19 Rugby Europe Trophy is the second-level rugby union competition below the premier Championship. It is the third Trophy competition under its new format, that will see Czech Republic, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, and Switzerland compete for the title, and a place in the Championship-Trophy promotion play-off. This year's competition sees Lithuania joining the Trophy after winning the Trophy-Conference 1 promotion play-off against Malta.
