Rockliffe St. Patrick Fellowes (17 March 1884 – 28 January 1950),''Who Was Who on Screen'' c.1977 by Evelyn Mack Truitt..Retrieved 22 June 2018 was a Canadian actor born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He starred in films such as ''Regeneration'' and '' Monkey Business''. Biography After following a business career for some years, he gave it up to go onto the stage in 1907 and later made his entry into films as the redemptive hero of Raoul Walsh's 1915 silent gangster film ''Regeneration''. He appeared mostly in silent films and is probably best known today for his role as gangster Joe Helton in '' Monkey Business'' (1931) starring the Marx Brothers. At one time he was married to the stage actress Lucile Watson. He retired from acting in 1934. Fellowes died in Los Angeles, California in 1950 at the age of 66. Plot As described in a film magazine review, Nancy Burrard's husband Gerard goes on a business trip to South America and she beguiles the lonely hours by borrowing a few husbands for flirtations purposes, and engaging in a flirtation with Major Desmond, who supposes her to be a widow. He meets her husband in South America, where the truth is made known to him. ''The Spoilers'' is a 1923 American silent Western film directed by Lambert Hillyer. It is set in Nome, Alaska during the 1898 Gold Rush, with Milton Sills as Roy Glennister, Anna Q. Nilsson as Cherry Malotte, and Noah Beery Sr. as Alex McNamara. The film culminates in a saloon fistfight between Glennister and McNamara. ''The Spoilers'' was adapted to screen by Elliott J. Clawson from the 1906 Rex Beach novel of the same name.
