Rock On 2
''Rock On 2'' (also known as ''Rock On!! 2'') is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language musical drama film directed by Shujaat Saudagar, and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. A sequel to the National film award winning film ''Rock On!!'' (2008). The soundtrack of the film was composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy. Arjun Rampal, Akhtar, Purab Kohli and Prachi Desai reprise their roles from the original film whereas Shraddha Kapoor and Shashank Arora appear in new roles. Unlike its predecessor, the film was unsuccessful at the box office. Plot The film starts with Joseph "Joe" Mascarenhas (Arjun Rampal) being introduced to the audience. Joe is now a judge at a successful reality show and working partner at Club Bar & Blues, where he often meets his other friend from the band Magik, Kedar "KD" Zaveri (Purab Kohli), better known as Killer Drummer. Ritesh Sidhwani (born 1973) is an Indian film producer. He is the co-founder of Excel Entertainment along with Farhan Akhtar. ''Rock On!!'' is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language musical drama film written and directed by Abhishek Kapoor, produced by Farhan Akhtar, and with music by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy. The film marks the successful Bollywood debut of Akhtar and Prachi Desai. Usha Uthup Iyer (born 7 November 1947) is an Indian pop, filmi, jazz, and playback singer who sang songs in the late 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. Salim–Sulaiman is an Indian score composer duo consisting of siblings Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant. The duo compose music predominantly for Hindi films. ''Sa Re Ga Ma Pa'' is an Indian Hindi-language reality singing television show. It started airing on Zee TV in 1995 as ''Sa Re Ga Ma''. It is the oldest running game show in India as well as the oldest show on private television in India.
