Rocco DiSpirito (born November 19, 1966) is an American chef and reality television personality based in New York City, known for starring in the program '' The Restaurant''. Early life and education DiSpirito was born in Queens, New York. He graduated in 1986 from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, and in 1990 from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in business . Career DiSpirito is known for his Italian-American cuisine and his innovative fusion cooking. DiSpirito is best known as a celebrity chef and a cookbook author. He is known for his involvement in Union Pacific, a restaurant he opened in 1997 in the Gramercy Park section of Manhattan. Jeffrey R. Chodorow (born March 2, 1950) is an American actor restaurateur, lawyer and financier. Early life and education Jeffrey Chodorow was born in the Bronx, but his father died the year he was born, so he and his mother moved to Miami, Florida in 1950 to live with Chodorow's mother's sister. His mother and aunt were both manicurists in a Cuban barbershop. He grew up in Miami Beach. Chodorow grew up very poor in a very wealthy Miami area. Hung Huynh (born January 25, 1978) is a Vietnamese-born American chef, best known as the winner of the third season of ''Top Chef'', a reality cooking competition series on Bravo.
