Robita
Robita is a fictional character, a robot who appears in Osamu Tezuka's manga series '' Phoenix''. She is also a character in the modern '' Astro Boy'' animated series. Phoenix Robita first appears (in the chronological order of the manga release) in ''Future'', where he is a grey cylindrical robot with an ellipsoid head, the eyes being a slit and his arms being articulated with claws. He is an assistant to an old recluse mad scientist called Dr. Saruta, the last descendant of the Sarutas in the Phoenix continuity. Although Robita may only be a robot, he shows signs of personality and kindness, which even astonishes Saruta himself. In the ''Resurrection'' episode, the origins of Robita have been revealed. Phoenix (manga)
is an unfinished manga series written and illustrated by Osamu Tezuka. Tezuka considered ''Phoenix'' his "life's work"; it consists of 12 books, each of which tells a separate, self-contained story and takes place in a different era. The plots go back and forth from the remote future to prehistoric times. The story was never completed, having been cut short by Tezuka's death in 1989. Several of the stories have been adapted into anime series and OVAs, and a live-action film. As of 2007, the entire manga series is available in English-language translations. Astro Boy (2003 TV Series)
is a remake from the 1963 anime series of the same name created by Osamu Tezuka. Produced by Tezuka Productions, Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan, Animax, Dentsu, and Fuji TV, it was directed by Kazuya Konaka, with Marc Handler as the story editor, Shinji Seya designing the characters, Shinji Aramaki and Takeshi Takakura designing the mechanical elements, Keiichirō Mochizuki serving as chief animation director, and Takashi Yoshimatsu composing the music. Saya No Uta
''The Song of Saya'' is a horror eroge lolicon visual novel by Nitroplus. The original plot was written by Gen Urobuchi, who took inspiration from reading Lovecraft novels during a lonely time in his life. In 2009, an English fan translation patch was released. Later, in 2013, JAST USA released an English localization on their digital platform using a revised version of the fan translation and also re-released it physically via the DVD-ROM format in 2020 for outlets such as J-list with a more modern VN engine. Astro Boy (2004 Video Game)
is a video game based on the 2003 anime television series, produced by Sonic Team and published by Sega exclusively for the PlayStation 2. It was released in Japan on April 18, 2004, followed by a North American release on August 18, 2004, a European release on February 11, 2005, and an Australasian release on February 23, 2005. Astro Boy is a 3-D third person adventure game and has open world capabilities; throughout the game, Astro is controlled by the player and learns more of his abilities that can be used outside of battles and also in battles as well. Astro Boy (1980 TV Series)
