''Robinson Ekspeditionen 2008'' (also known as ''Robinson: Fans vs. Paradise'') was the eleventh season of the Danish versions of the Swedish show ''Expedition Robinson''. This season premiered on September 1, 2008 and aired until November 24, 2008. The main twist this season was that every contestant was either a fan of Robinson or was a former contestant on the show ''Paradise Hotel ''Paradise Hotel'' is an American reality television program. In the show, a group of singles live in a luxurious hotel resort, competing to see who can stay in the hotel the longest. Each week, the contestants pair off into couples, and must sh ...''. The fan tribe was called "Tenga", while the Paradise tribe was called "Sembilang". There were many additional twists this season, the first taking place in episode 1 when all of the contestants were made to take part in an elimination challenge. is a popular Danish reality television program debuting in 1998. In the spring of 1998 TV3 purchased the broadcast rights to air their own version of ''Expedition Robinson''. Following the success of the Swedish version, Denmark was the first country to adopt their own version of the show. The show has proven to be a ratings success since its premiere in 1998. The name alludes to both ''Robinson Crusoe'' and ''The Swiss Family Robinson'', two stories featuring people marooned by shipwrecks. Holmegård
Until 1 January 2007, Holmegaard was a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Storstrøm County in the southern part of the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in south Denmark. ''Paradise Hotel'' is an American reality television program. In the show, a group of singles live in a luxurious hotel resort, competing to see who can stay in the hotel the longest. Each week, the contestants pair off into couples, and must share a hotel room together. One person is left over, and he or she must either pair up in the following episode, or leave the hotel to be replaced by a new contestant. The format was created by Mentorn, a British production company, which has produced various versions of the show around the world. The show premiered on Fox in 2003, and was hosted by Amanda Byram. Hvidovre
Hvidovre is the main town in Hvidovre Municipality, Denmark. The town, a suburb of Copenhagen, is about 10 km southwest of the capital's center. It is the 2nd biggest suburb of Copenhagen, only beaten by Frederiksberg. History Hvidovre has been inhabited since prehistoric times. In 1929, a 3,500-year-old sword from the Bronze Age was excavated in Hvidovre. Værløse () is a town in Furesø Municipality in the northwestern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. As of 1 January 2022, it has a population of 13,069. Situated on the west side of the Hillerød Motorway, between Farum Lake to the north and Søndersø Lake to the south, it is surrounded by forest on three sides.
