Robinson Ekspeditionen 2006
''Robinson Ekspeditionen 2006'' (also known as ''Robinson: Eliten'') was the ninth season of the Danish versions of the Swedish show ''Expedition Robinson''. This season premiered on September 4, 2006 and aired until November 21, 2006. The main twist this season was that every contestant was a well-known athlete in a sport. Along with this twist, this season contestants would not be eliminated by the result of tribal council voting, but by the result of duels between two contestants from the same tribe. This means that this season following the vote at tribal council, the voted-out player would pick one of their fellow tribe member to face off with in a duel to determine which would stay in the game. Once the two tribes merged, the twist of "Utopia" returned to the game. In Utopia all eliminated players would compete in a series of duels in order to earn a spot in the final four. Kongens Lyngby
Kongens Lyngby (, Danish for "the King's Heather Town"; short form Lyngby) is the seat and commercial centre of Lyngby-Taarbæk Municipality in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen, Denmark. Lyngby Hovedgade is a busy shopping street and the site of a branch of Magasin du Nord as well as Lyngby Storcenter. Karlslunde
Karlslunde is a suburb 25 km (16 mi) south-west of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The suburb is a part of Greve municipality. Karlslunde is generally divided into Karlslunde Landsby and Karlslunde Strand split by Karlslunde Landevej (Taastrupvejen). The suburb is connected with the S-train network lines A and E. The city has quite a rich history, as the viking Svend-Grate fought a vital battle against the Vends in Karlslunde in the year of 1153. Karlslunde was also part of Tunestillingen which was a defensive line to protect Copenhagen against a possible attack from the germans under World War I. Mosede Fort (also in Karlslunde) is an old fort which was a key part of this defensive line. Søren Lilholt (born 22 September 1965) is a Danish former racing cyclist. He rode in eight Grand Tours between 1987 and 1992 completing five of them. He also competed at the 1984 Summer Olympics. Rødovre
Rødovre is a town in eastern Denmark, seat of the Rødovre Municipality, in the Region Hovedstaden. The town's population 1 January 2019 was 39,907, and in addition 145 persons had no fixed address, which made up a total of 40,052 in the municipality as a whole. Johnny Bredahl Johansen (born 27 August 1968), known professionally as Johnny Bredahl or Johny Wahid Johansen, is a Danish former professional boxer who competed between 1989 and 2006. Frederiksberg
Frederiksberg () is a part of the Capital Region of Denmark. It is formally an independent municipality, Frederiksberg Municipality, separate from Copenhagen Municipality, but both are a part of the City of Copenhagen. It occupies an area of less than 9 km2 and had a population of 103,192 in 2015. Frederiksberg is an enclave surrounded by Copenhagen Municipality. Risskov
Risskov is the name of both a neighbourhood and a district in the city of Aarhus, Denmark. The district of Risskov is sometimes referred to as Vejlby-Risskov, as it is a merger of the neighbourhood of Risskov and the neighbourhood of Vejlby. Denise Dupont
Denise Kanstrup Dupont (born 24 May 1984) is a Danish curler. She throws third rocks for the Danish national team, skipped by Angelina Jensen. After several years of limited success in the Junior ranks, Dupont joined Dorthe Holm's team and was a member of the silver medal-winning European Curling Championships team in 2002. (Throwing second rocks). The following year, the team won a bronze medal. Her success at the European Championships never translated to Junior success or World Championship success at the time. In 2004, she was promoted to the third position, and the team won another bronze at the European Championships in 2005.
