Roberto Procaccini • Lobbe (born Roberto Procaccini, on , Rome, Italy) is an Italian composer, producer, and keyboard player. Studies He studied piano (classical and jazz) privately, and then at the University of Music in Rome. In 1995 he moved to Boston, United States, where he attended the Berklee College of Music, winning two scholarships (Best and Arif Mardin Scholarship) and graduated Summa cum laude in Contemporary Writing and Production; he followed workshops in composition and conducting with Maestro Mauro Bacherini and Peppe Vessicchio. Background Born in Bari, while still being a student at the conservatory of his hometown, in 1982 Armani debuted as a singer participating at the RAI musical contest ''Azzurro''. Tony Renis (born 13 May 1938), stage name of Elio Cesari, is an Italian singer, composer, music producer and film actor. Life and career Renis was born in Milan. In the mid-1950s he met with Adriano Celentano, and the two started performing an impression of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. In 1958, he was signed by the label "Combo Records", and released a few cover versions of Italian and American rock 'n' roll songs as lead vocalist of the band Combos. In 1961, Renis debuted at the Sanremo Music Festival with the song "Pozzanghere". In 1962, Renis returned to the Sanremo Music Festival where he gained international recognition with the song "Quando, quando, quando", written with Alberto Testa. Claudio Mattone (born 28 February 1943) is an Italian composer, lyricist and music producer. Born in Santa Maria a Vico, Caserta, Mattone approached music at young age, as a jazz pianist. After leaving the university he moved to Rome, where he debuted in 1968 as a singer-songwriter with the song "E' sera", that premiered without any success at Cantagiro '68. Focusing on composition, between late sixties and early eighties he successfully teamed with the lyricist Franco Migliacci and signed several hits, contributing to launch the careers of Nada and Eduardo De Crescenzo; also working as music producer and as lyricist of his songs, in nineties Mattone launched the careers of Neri per caso and Syria, that respectively won the 1994 and 1995 editions of the Sanremo Music Festival in the "giovani" category. Born in Dorno, province of Pavia, he debuted under his true name at the 1970 edition of the Sanremo Festival, together with Nada (Italian singer), Nada.
