Roberto Pettit
Roberto L. Pettit (1922–1954) was a Paraguayan medical doctor A physician (American English), medical practitioner (Commonwealth English), medical doctor, or simply doctor, is a health professional who practices medicine, which is concerned with promoting, maintaining or restoring health through th ..., former head of Paraguay's Institute of Agrarian Reform, and one-time leader of the youth wing of the Colorado Party. He was appointed chief of police by Federico Chávez and was killed during the attack on police headquarters during the 1954 Paraguayan coup d'etat. The neighborhood Roberto L. The National Republican Association – Colorado Party ( Spanish: ''Asociación Nacional Republicana – Partido Colorado'', ANR-PC) is a right-wing political party in Paraguay, founded on 11 September 1887, by Bernardino Caballero. Federico Chávez
Federico Chávez Careaga (February 15, 1882 – April 24, 1978) was a Paraguayan politician and soldier who served as President of Paraguay from September 10, 1949, to May 4, 1954. He was a member of the Colorado Party. Early life Chávez was born on February 15, 1882, in Paraguarí. His parents were the Portuguese Federico Chávez and his wife Felicia Careaga, from Guaira, Paraguay.
