Roberta Alexandra Kerr (born 24 May 1952) is an English actress. She is known for her various roles in British soap operas including Sally Haynes in ''Brookside'', Wendy Crozier in '' Coronation Street'' and Jan Glover in ''Emmerdale'', as well as portraying several characters in '' Doctors''. Life and career Kerr was born in Southampton, England on 24 May 1952. She began her acting career in 1984 when she joined the Channel 4 soap opera ''Brookside'' as Sally Haynes. She portrayed the character on a recurring basis until 1985. The same year, she played another character named Sally in an episode of '' Travelling Man'' and in 1986, she played Mrs. Bennett in an episode of the BBC Two drama anthology series '' Screenplay''. William Roache
William Patrick Roache (born 25 April 1932) is an English actor. He is best known for playing Ken Barlow in the ITV soap opera ''Coronation Street'' since it was first broadcast on 9 December 1960. He is listed in the ''Guinness World Records'' as the longest-serving television star in a continuous role. Tonicha Dobre (née Jeronimo; born 4 November 1977) is a British actress, born in Jersey, of partial Portuguese extraction. She is best known for her role as Linda Fowler in ''Emmerdale'' between 1994 and 1997 when her character was killed off. Early life and education Jeronimo has a Portuguese father named Antonio, a mother named Susan, an older sister named Filipa, and her eldest sister named Lisa. Linda Fowler (also Glover) is a fictional character from the British ITV soap opera, ''Emmerdale'', played by Tonicha Jeronimo from 1994 to 1997. It was reported on 6 May 1997 that Jeronimo had quit the soap after three years. The character was killed off in a car accident in October 1997, as part of the show's 25th anniversary celebrations.
