Robert Miśkowiak (born 21 November 1983 in Rawicz, Poland) is a former motorcycle speedway rider form Poland. Career In 2003, he reached the final of the Speedway Under-21 World Championship. The following year he became the World Under-21 Champion, after winning the 2004 Speedway Under-21 World Championship. In Britain, he raced for Ipswich Witches from 2005 until 2010. Rawicz
Rawicz (; german: Rawitsch) is a town in west-central Poland with 21,398 inhabitants as of 2004. It is situated in the Greater Poland Voivodeship (since 1999); previously it was in Leszno Voivodeship (1975–1998). It is the capital of Rawicz County. History The town was founded by Adam Olbracht Przyjemski of Rawicz coat of arms for Protestant refugees from Silesia during the Thirty Years' War. Munkebo Speedway Club
Munkebo Speedway Club is a motorcycle speedway club from Munkebo in Denmark. They were champions of Denmark, having won the title in 2015. Track The track called the Munkebo Speedway Center is located on the western outskirts of Munkebo, on Garbækstoften 20. History 1975 to 1984 Munkebo Motor Sport was founded on 1 December 1975 and a few months later they opened a 196-metre mini speedway track (50cc and 80cc), near the Lindø Shipyard. The first meeting held there was the 50cc Danish Moped Speedway Championship on 14 August 1976. A 500cc team was created despite the fact that Munkebo did not have a 500cc track. The team called the Svanerne (the Swans) raced in the Danish tournament, which was the league system in Denmark at the time. However, with no home venue they leased the tracks at Fjelsted and Holsted. Krzysztof Kasprzak
Krzysztof Kasprzak (; born 18 July 1984 in Leszno, Poland) is an international speedway rider who became World Under-21 Champion in 2005 and won the silver medal during the 2014 Speedway Grand Prix. He also won five World team titles. He is a son of former Polish national speedway team member Zenon Kasprzak. Brother Robert is also a speedway rider. Career summary Kasprzak became the European Champion in 2003 after winning the 2003 Individual Speedway European Championship. He also made his British speedway debut after joining Poole Pirates. The following year in 2004, he broke into the Poland team, representing them in the 2004 Speedway World Cup. In 2005, he won European Pairs Championship and Under-21 World Cup for Poland. The Speedway Under-21 World Championship is an annual speedway event held each year organized by the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) since 1977. Motorcycle Speedway
Motorcycle speedway, usually referred to simply as speedway, is a motorcycle sport involving four and sometimes up to six riders competing over four anti-clockwise laps of an oval circuit. The motorcycles are specialist machines that use only one gear and have no brakes. Racing takes place on a flat oval track usually consisting of dirt, loosely packed shale, or crushed rock (mostly used in Australia and New Zealand).
