Robert Mallios Galić
Robert Mallios Galić ( el, Ροβέρτος Μάλλιος-Γκάλιτς; 1 January 1905 – ?), known as "Mallios" in short, was a Greek footballer who played as a defender and a later manager. Club career Mallios started his career at Hefestos Constantinople in 1923. In 1928 he traveled to Greece, where he was transferred to AEK Athens and competed as an expatriate. He was one of the defensive pillars of the club and in 1931 he won the first Greek Cup, that was also the first title of the club, defeating Aris with a score of 5–3. On 27 September 1933 he went to Cyprus to join Enosis Neon Trust for a season, where he was their captain and manager. He won both the first Cypriot Championship and the first two Cypriot Cups, being the first team to achieve a domestic double in Cypriot football. The Cypriot Cup () is the main cup competition in Cypriot football, run by the Cyprus Football Association (CFA). It began in 1934, the same season with the Cypriot Championship. It is the second most important competition for Cypriot club teams after Cypriot Championship. Only the Cypriot First Division and the second division teams are participating in the competition. Pezoporikos Club Larnaca ( el, Πεζοπορικός Όμιλος Λάρνακας, ''Pezoporikos Omilos Larnakas'') was a Cypriot sports club based in Larnaca with football, basketball and volleyball teams. Founded in 1927, the football club joined the Cypriot Championship in 1938, winning it twice as well as one Cypriot Cup. The colours of the club were green and white. In 1994 the club merged with EPA Larnaca and they formed AEK Larnaca (). The club also had a basketball and volleyball department and were basketball champions four times and five times cup winners. The 1935–36 Cypriot Cup was the second edition of the Cypriot Cup. A total of 8 clubs entered the competition. It began on 13 October 1935 with the quarterfinals and concluded on 3 November 1935 with the final which was held at GSP Stadium. Enosis Neon Trust won their 2nd Cypriot Cup trophy after beating Lefkoşa Türk Spor Kulübü 1–0 in the final. Format In the 1935–36 Cypriot Cup, participated all the teams of the Cypriot First Division. The competition consisted of three knock-out rounds. In all rounds each tie was played as a single leg and was held at the home ground of the one of the two teams, according to the draw results. Each tie winner was qualifying to the next round.
