Robb Gordon
Robb Gordon (born January 13, 1976) is a Canadian retired professional ice hockey centre who played briefly in the National Hockey League for the Vancouver Canucks. Selected by the Canucks in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft, he played four games for the team in the 1998–99 season, spending the rest of his career in the minor leagues before retiring in 2000. Internationally Gordon played for the Canadian national junior team at the 1996 World Junior Championships, winning a gold medal. Playing career Gordon was born in Murrayville, British Columbia and raised in Surrey, British Columbia. He was selected in the second round (39th overall) of the 1994 NHL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Canucks following a season in the BCHL with the Powell River Paper Kings. Rob Gordon
William Robert Gordon (born 7 August 1965) is a former New Zealand rugby union player. A Rugby union positions#Back row, loose forward, where he could play either blind side flanker or No. 8. Gordon represented Otago Rugby Football Union, Otago and Waikato Rugby Union, Waikato at a provincial level. He was a member of the New Zealand national side, the All Blacks, in 1990 on the tour on France, during which he played three matches but no tests. He also appeared in a New Zealand XV in 1991 playing unofficial tests against Russia, an Australian XV and Romania. He also holds the New Zealand and World records for the most tries (5) scored by a forward in a national championship rugby match. This outstanding and unique world record still stands today. BCHL
The British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) is a Junior A ice hockey league from British Columbia under Hockey Canada and BC Hockey. Founded in Vernon in 1961, the BCHL now includes 18 teams. From 1993 to 2021, the league was a member of the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL), an association of Junior A leagues across Canada that would play for the National Junior A Championship. The winner of the BCHL playoffs (Fred Page Cup) would continue on to play the Alberta Junior Hockey League champion in the Doyle Cup for the right to then compete in the National Junior A Championship. International Hockey League (1945–2001)
The International Hockey League (IHL) was a minor professional ice hockey league in the United States and Canada that operated from 1945 to 2001. The IHL served as the National Hockey League's alternate Farm team, farm system to the American Hockey League (AHL). After 56 years of operation, financial instability led to the league's demise. ECHL
The ECHL (formerly the East Coast Hockey League) is a mid-level professional ice hockey league based in Shrewsbury, New Jersey, with teams scattered across the United States and Canada. It is a tier below the American Hockey League (AHL). The ECHL and the AHL are the only minor leagues recognized by the collective bargaining agreement between the National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Hockey League Players' Association, meaning any player signed to an entry-level NHL contract and designated for assignment must report to a club in either the ECHL or the AHL. American Hockey League
The American Hockey League (AHL) is a professional ice hockey league based in the United States and Canada that serves as the primary Minor league#Ice hockey, developmental league for the National Hockey League (NHL). Since the 2010–11 AHL season, 2010–11 season, every team in the league has an affiliation agreement with one NHL team. When NHL teams do not have an AHL affiliate, players are assigned to AHL teams affiliated with other NHL teams. Kelowna Rockets
The Kelowna Rockets are a major junior ice hockey team based in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. The Rockets play in the Western Hockey League (WHL), out of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL). They play their home games at Prospera Place. The Rockets have won the WHL championship four times and have made it to the Memorial Cup finals three times, winning once. The Western Hockey League (WHL) is a major junior ice hockey league based in Western Canada and the Northwestern United States. Michael Rudolph Knuble ( , lv, Maikls Rūdolfs Knuble; born July 4, 1972) is a Canadian-born American former professional ice hockey right winger who played in the National Hockey League (NHL). During his 16 NHL seasons, he played for the Detroit Red Wings, New York Rangers, Boston Bruins, Philadelphia Flyers and Washington Capitals. Brendan Morrison
Brendan Morrison (born August 15, 1975) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre. He has previously played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New Jersey Devils, Vancouver Canucks, Anaheim Ducks, Dallas Stars, Washington Capitals, Calgary Flames and Chicago Blackhawks. Morrison was selected 39th overall in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft by the Devils after a season in the British Columbia Junior Hockey League (BCJHL); he had won rookie of the year honours for the Interior Conference as a member of the Penticton Panthers.
