Rob Schneider
Robert Michael Schneider (; born October 31, 1963) is an American actor, comedian, and screenwriter. A stand-up comic and veteran of the NBC sketch comedy series ''Saturday Night Live'', he went on to a career in feature films, including starring roles in the comedy films '' Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo'' (1999) and its 2005 sequel, ''The Animal'' (2001), ''The Hot Chick'' (2002), ''The Benchwarmers'' (2006), and '' Big Stan'' (2007). Schneider is the father of singer Elle King. Early life Schneider was born in San Francisco, California, and grew up in the nearby suburb of Pacifica. The Holy City Zoo, which called itself "the comedian's clubhouse", was a small but influential comedy club in San Francisco that operated from the mid-1970s to the mid-1990s. Description The Holy City Zoo was located at 408 Clement Street between 5th and 6th Avenues in San Francisco's Richmond District. It was a tiny dark cavern that had a maximum occupancy of 78.
