Roar Of The Lion (web Series)
''Roar of The Lion'' is a 2019 Indian multilingual documentary drama web series for Hotstar, co-produced by Kabir Khan, written by Amardeep Galsin and directed by Amir Rizvi, starring MS Dhoni, Ravindra Jadeja, Suresh Raina, Shane Watson, Dwayne Bravo with Faf du Plessis, Deepak Chahar and Ambati Rayudu as supporting cast. The series follows the Indian Premier League team Chennai Super Kings, who returned to the 2018 edition of the IPL after serving a two-year ban for allegedly being involved in the 2013 spot-fixing scandal. The documentary series took three months for the completion of the writing, with the series being shot in India (Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai) and Australia. Ambati Thirupathi Rayudu (born 23 September 1985) is an Indian cricketer who currently captains the Baroda cricket team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy championship. 2013 Indian Premier League Spot-fixing And Betting Case
The 2013 Indian Premier League spot-fixing and betting case arose when the Delhi Police arrested three cricketers, Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan, on the charges of alleged spot-fixing. The three represented the Rajasthan Royals in the 2013 Indian Premier League. In a separate case, Mumbai Police arrested Vindu Dara Singh, Priyank Sepany (diamond dealer) and Chennai Super Kings Team Principal Gurunath Meiyappan for alleged betting.
