Charlotte Street is a street in Fitzrovia, historically part of the parish and borough of St Pancras, in central London. It has been described, together with its northern and southern extensions (Fitzroy Street and Rathbone Place), as the ''spine of Fitzrovia''. Cedarview Road (Ottawa)
Cedarview Road (Ottawa Road #23) is a north–south road in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It runs between Bells Corners and Barrhaven. Formerly a major arterial road for Barrhaven residents, its use declined after the opening of Highway 416 in 1999. Cedarview Road begins in the north at Baseline Road, near the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Prior to the opening of Highway 416, it ran south, passing Bell High School. It has since been re-aligned eastward to make room for a corridor for the highway; the original portion of Cedarview Road that accesses the school has been renamed Cassidy Road. Continuing southward, Cedarview Road intersects with West Hunt Club Road, formerly Knoxdale Road. Also at this intersection is an interchange with Highway 416. Just south of the intersection is a sharp S-curve following the curve of Highway 416, which has been considered dangerous and has resulted in some car crashes. Catherine Street, originally known as Brydges Street, is a street in the City of Westminster, London. It runs from Russell Street in the north to Aldwych in the south. It is crossed midway by Tavistock Street and joined on the western side near Aldwych by the eastern end of Exeter Street. History The street was first laid out by Francis Russell, 4th Earl of Bedford, in the 1630s at which time it was closed at its southern end near the junction with Exeter Street. Its southern end was the wall of Exeter House garden and the back of the White Hart Inn in the Strand. The south part was named Catherine Street after Queen Catherine of Braganza, wife of King Charles II. Until 1872 the north part was called Brydges Street after the fourth earl's wife. Carp Road (Ottawa)
Carp Road ( Ottawa Road #5) is an arterial road in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada that runs between Fitzroy Harbour and Stittsville, through the village of Carp. The road is located in the city's west end, beginning in Fitzroy Harbour at Galetta Side Road and ending in Stittsville at Stittsville Main Street. Most of the route is rural with the exception of Stittsville where the road travels in a residential development. Ottawa Regional Road #5 continues as Stittsville Main Street south of Carp Road, then becomes Huntley Road south of Stittsville toward the town of Richmond. A curious artifact of pre-amalgamation Ottawa is the inconsistent numbering of addresses on Carp Road, divided at the intersection of Rothbourne Road, the boundary of the former townships of Goulbourn and West Carleton: Addresses begin at 1000 and run south toward Stittsville in Goulbourn, but begin at 2000 and run north toward Fitzroy Harbour in West Carleton. Carling Avenue
Carling Avenue is a major east–west arterial road in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It runs from March Road in Kanata to Bronson Avenue in the Glebe. The road is named for John Carling, founder of Carling Brewery and Conservative MP and Senator, Postmaster General and Minister of Agriculture. Road description At approximately in length, Carling Avenue begins at the fringes of the Glebe neighbourhood and runs in a straight direction west until the Ottawa River where it bends north to go around Crystal Bay and Britannia Bay and ends north of Kanata. It used to begin at O'Connor Street, one block east of Bank Street, but the part east of Bronson was renamed Glebe Avenue on February 7, 1974.
