Aleksandr Stolper
Aleksandr Borisovich Stolper (russian: Александр Борисович Столпер; 12 August 1907, in Dvinsk (now Daugavpils) – 12 January 1979, in Moscow) was a Soviet film director and screenwriter. He directed 14 films between 1940 and 1977. Aleksandr Stolper was awarded the Stalin Prize in 1949 and 1951 and received the honorary title People's Artist of the USSR in 1977. Vladimir Vladimirovich Kenigson (russian: Владимир Владимирович Кенигсон; November 7, 1907 – November 17, 1986) was a Soviet and Russian film and stage actor. People's Artist of the USSR (1982). Biography and career Vladimir Kenigson was born in the family of barrister Vladimir Petrovich Kenigson in Simferopol. He graduated from the school at Simferopol Drama Theatre in 1925 and was admitted to the theater group. Then he played at the theater in Kuybyshev, Dnipropetrovsk and other cities. He was noticed on the stage by Alexander Tairov and was invited into their group. In the years 1940-1949 Kenigson worked in Kamerny Theatre under the direction of Alexander Tairov, where he became a partner Alisa Koonen - in the performances of "Madame Bovary" (Rodolphe) and "Guilty Without Guilt" (Neznamov). Nikolai Vasilyevich Sergeyev (; December 3, 1894 – January 8, 1988) was a Soviet and Russian stage and film actor. People's Artist of the RSFSR (1970). Biography He was born in Ozyorki village, Shchigrovsky Uyezd into a noble family. He graduated from the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts in 1925, and performed in the Red Army Theatre from 1936 to 1959. He died in Moscow, and was buried in the Vagankovo Cemetery. Viktor Antonovich Avdyushko (Russian: ''Виктор Антонович Авдюшко''; January 11, 1925 – November 19, 1975) was a Soviet actor and a People's Artist of the Russian SFSR. Biography Early life Avdyushko was born to a father who worked as a weight inspector in the Kiyevsky Rail Terminal and to a housewife mother, who also raised one older daughter. Initially a student in the Moscow Aviation Institute, he left it and was admitted into the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography, where he studied under Yuli Raizman. He graduated from the academy in 1949, and joined the regular cast of the Mosfilm studio. Sergei Aleksandrovich Yermolinsky (; 14 December 1900, Vilnius – 18 February 1984, Moscow) was a Soviet screenwriter and dramatist. Life A graduate of the Kaluga Gymnasium (Unified Labor School), he organized a theatre school in Kaluga. He studied at the Institute of Oriental Studies and in 1925 graduated from the Literature Faculty of Social Sciences at Moscow State University, going on to work on the newspapers Pravda and Komsomolskaya Pravda and in 1925 to collaborate with the film director Yuli Raizman. He became friends with Mikhail Bulgakov, whose participation in the Commission of the Union of Writers was partly what led to Yermolinsky's arrest in late 1940 - the order was signed by Pyotr Pavlenko. He was held in Lefortovo Prison, where he tried to commit suicide. With his involvement in anti-Soviet activities still unproven, he was transferred to another prison in Saratov.
