Rizin
Rizin Fighting Federation (Rizin FF or Rizin) is a Japanese mixed martial arts organization created in 2015 by the former Pride Fighting Championships and Dream Stage Entertainment president Nobuyuki Sakakibara. Rizin was founded to be the spiritual successor of Pride Fighting Championships, Pride FC and Dream (mixed martial arts), DREAM, the organization carries much of the philosophy and ambition of its two predecessors: its events are promoted as larger-than-life events with elaborate opening ceremonies and fighter entrances, its matches are fought in a Ring (boxing), roped ring and it has a more permissive ruleset compared to the Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts, inherited from Pride and DREAM. The organization also promotes "Grand Prix", Single-elimination tournament, single-elimination tournaments where fighters have to fight multiple opponents in the same night. Rena Kubota
, better known by her ring name Rena or Reina, is a professional Japanese shoot wrestler, kickboxer and mixed martial artist, currently competing in the strawweight division of Rizin. A professional competitor since 2007, Kubota previously competed as a kickboxer in the flyweight division of Shootboxing. She is a record four-time Shootboxing Girls S-Cup tournament winner, having won every tournament she took part in, and is the former Shootboxing flyweight champion. Unified Rules Of Mixed Martial Arts
Most rule sets for mixed martial arts (MMA) competitions have evolved since the early days of Vale Tudo. As a result of health, legal, and moral concerns, many different rulesets were created, which give different countries and promotions very different tactics and strategies. Similarly, shoot wrestling organizations, such as Shooto, expanded their rulesets to integrate elements of Vale Tudo into their sport. However, for the most part, fighters accustomed to one rule set can easily acclimate to the others. The most prevalent rule set in the world being used currently is the ''Unified Rules of Mixed Martial Arts'', adopted by all state athletic commissions in the United States that regulate MMA and is used most notably in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Nobuyuki Sakakibara
is a Japanese businessman and mixed martial arts (MMA) promoter. He is known for his executive role in Dream Stage Entertainment, including its promotions Pride Fighting Championships and Fighting Opera Hustle, and works as the current president of Rizin Fighting Federation. Career After graduating from Aichi University in 1987, Sakakibara started working at Tōkai Television Broadcasting, where he organized combat sports events, among them K-1 and Union of Wrestling Forces International.
