Ritvars Suharevs
Ritvars Suharevs (born 11 January 1999 in Dobele) is a Latvian weightlifter, and Junior World Champion competing in the 77 kg category until 2018 and 81 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories. Career Other Competitions Suharevs' first major result came at the 2013 European Youth Championships held in Klaipėda, Lithuania where he won three golds; coming first in the overall classification along with the individual snatch and clean & jerk. The following year, in 2014, Suharevs won gold again at the European Youth Championships hosted in Ciechanów Ciechanów is a city in north-central Poland. Dobele
Dobele (; german: Doblen) is a town in the cultural region Zemgale in Latvia, and is located near the center of Latvia on the banks of the river Bērze. It received town rights in 1917 whilst being a part of the German occupied Courland Governorate during the First World War. As of 2020, the population was 8,856. International Weightlifting Federation
The International Weightlifting Federation (IWF), headquartered in Lausanne, is the international governing body for the sport of Olympic weightlifting. The IWF was founded in 1905, and has 192 Member Federations. The IWF President is Mohammed Hasan Jalood of Iraq. Originally called the Fédération Haltérophile International (FHI), it changed its name to IWF between the 1972 and 1976 Summer Olympics. Controversies Doping in weightlifting was highlighted during the 2020 Olympic Games due to historic problems within the sport. Førde
Førde is a former municipality in the county of Sogn og Fjordane, Norway. It was located in the traditional district of Sunnfjord. The administrative center was the town of Førde which in 2016 had 10,255 inhabitants. Other villages in Førde municipality included Bruland, Holsen, Moskog, and Haukedalen. The Øyrane area in the town of Førde was a large industrial/commercial area for the region. The European Route E39 highway passed through the municipality, and it passed by the lake Holsavatnet.
