Rita Rätsepp
Rita Rätsepp (born 17 July 1962) is an Estonian actress and psychologist whose career began in the mid-1980s. She has performed on onstage, in television and in motion pictures. Early life and education Rita Rätsepp was born in rural Lääne-Viru County to Richard Rätsepp, a forester, and Aino Amanda Rätsepp (''née'' Kull) and spent most of her childhood in the small village of Tammiku. She attended secondary schools in Rakke and Võhma. Afterward, she studied at the Tallinn State Conservatory (now, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre) under the instruction of Mikk Mikiver, graduating in 1984. Among her graduating classmates were Terje Pennie, Margus Tabor, Kiiri Tamm, Gita Ränk, Toomas Urb, and Peeter Sauter. In 2008, she received her master's degree in social sciences in the field of psychology from University Nord in Tallinn. Samuel Dashiell Hammett (; May 27, 1894 – January 10, 1961) was an American writer of hard-boiled detective novels and short stories. He was also a screenwriter and political activist. The Glass Key
''The Glass Key'' is a novel by American writer Dashiell Hammett. First published as a serial in '' Black Mask'' magazine in 1930, it then was collected in 1931 (in London; the American edition followed 3 months later). It tells the story of a gambler and racketeer, Ned Beaumont, whose devotion to Paul Madvig, a crooked political boss, leads him to investigate the murder of a local senator's son as a potential gang war brews. Hammett dedicated the novel to his onetime lover Nell Martin. There have been two US film adaptations (1935 and 1942) of the novel. A radio adaptation starring Orson Welles aired on March 10, 1939, as part of his '' Campbell Playhouse'' series. ''The Class'' ( et, Klass) is a 2007 Estonian drama film directed by Ilmar Raag. Themed on school violence, it was released on March 16, 2007. A 7 episode series was later produced, telling what happens after the initial movie. The series was called ''Class: Life After'' ( et, Klass: Elu pärast, which can also be translated as "Class: For Life"). Plot Joosep Raak is an Estonian teenager who is being bullied by his entire high school class, the ring leader of them all is Anders, his accomplice Paul, and three other friends: Toomas, Tiit and Olav. Ilmar Raag (born 21 May 1968 in Kuressaare) is an Estonian media executive, actor, screenwriter and film director, best known for his socio-critical film '' The Class''.
