Rimantas Šadžius
Rimantas Šadžius (born 8 October 1960) is a Lithuanian politician of the Social Democratic Party. Political career Šadžius was Minister of Finance from 2007 to 2008. In December 2012 he started a second term as minister of Finance in the cabinet of Algirdas Butkevičius. During his time in office, he served as chairman of the Party of European Socialists’ Finance Ministers Network. The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania ( lt, Lietuvos Respublikos finansų ministerija) is a government department of the Republic of Lithuania. Algirdas Butkevičius (born 19 November 1958) is a Lithuanian politician and was Prime Minister of Lithuania, serving between 2012 and 2016. He also served as the Minister of Finance from 2004 to 2005 and the Minister of Transport and Communications from 2006 to 2008. He led the Social Democratic Party of Lithuania from 2009 to 2017.
