Rikke Schmidt
Rikke Petersen-Schmidt (born 14 January 1975) is a former Danish team handball player and two times Olympic champion. She played as a goalkeeper. During her national team career she managed to play 104 games for the Danish National team from 1999 to 2006. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team.
