Rikard Berge (7 November 1881 – 26 September 1969) was a Norwegian folklorist, museologist biographer and magazine editor. Biography Rikard Gjermundsen Berge was born in Rauland in Vinje, Telemark, Norway. He was the son of Geirmund Hallvordsson (1857–1926) and Sigrid Rikardsdotter Berge (1854–1943). Berge started writing down traditional folklore from the rural districts of Telemark from he was twelve years old. From 1908 he was married to the painter Johanna Bugge (1874–1961), daughter of Sophus Bugge (1833–1907) and Karen Sophie Schreiner (1835–1897). Her father was professor of philology, Indo-European linguistics and Old Norse at Christiania University (now University of Oslo). Berge inherited the collections of folk songs from his father-in-law. In 1907 Berge helped establish the Kviteseid District Museum and in 1909 the Fyresdal Local History Museum. Rikard Franzén (born March 21, 1968 in Huddinge, Sweden) is a retired professional ice hockey defenceman. Franzén spent most of his career with AIK Hockey as their top defenceman. Having originally played for the team from 1988 to 1997, he moved to Germany's Deutsche Eishockey Liga with the Kölner Haie, but after one season he returned to AIK. Rikard Lenac (March 16, 1868 – 1949) was a lawyer and a one-time governor of the city of Rijeka. Lenac was born in Rijeka, a son of the navy captain Mate Lenac from Martinšćica, and Antonija, née. Lučić, from Volosko. The father, commander of the Austrian brigantine ''Pietro'', died in Brazil, when he was five years old. After his father's death the mother remarried with captain Vjenceslav Harasim from Lovran. Rikard Nordraak (12 June 1842 – 20 March 1866) was a Norwegian composer. He is best known as the composer of the Norwegian national anthem, "Ja, vi elsker dette landet". Biography Rikard Nordraak was born and grew up in Oslo, Norway. His family came from the Nordråk farm in the district Land in the county of Oppland. His father was a brother of Inger Elise Nordraach, the mother of the Norwegian writer and poet, Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson. Nordraak's musical gifts became evident at an early age, but as for many other artists at that time, a different career was already planned. He was going to pursue a career within business, and when he was fifteen he was sent to business school in Copenhagen. Nonetheless his musical interests prevailed and instead of studying business he ended up studying music, and in 1859 he went to Berlin for advanced studies.
