Rifael Ronald (Riff) Markowitz (born 1938) is a Canadians, Canadian-Americans, American television and theatre producer,"One man's unbridled folly: In a 'little jewel box of a theatre,' Torontonian Riff Markowitz has wowed a million-and-a-half visitors with corny jokes and a cancan line-up of knock-out octogenarians." ''Party Game'' was a Television in Canada, Canadian television game show in the 1970s, produced by Hamilton, Ontario, Hamilton independent station CHCH-DT, CHCH-TV from 1970 to 1981. It aired throughout Canada in Television syndication, syndication, broadcast on 32 stations at its peak. The show featured two teams of three players in a charades competition: the Challenger Team was composed of a contestant joined with two guest star players, while the Home Team consisted of series regulars Jack Duffy, Dinah Christie and Billy Van. Crave (formerly The Movie Network or TMN) is a Canadian premium television network and streaming service owned by the Bell Media subsidiary of BCE Inc. Launched in 1983 as the national service First Choice, early difficulties and a subsequent industry restructuring led to its operations being restricted to Eastern Canada from 1984 to 2016; it then held a regional legal monopoly on movie-based premium TV service in its territory until the launch of the present-day Super Channel in 2007.
