Ridgeview High School (RHS) was founded in 1994. Academics All students enrolled at RHS must at least meet the following criteria before graduation: *4 years of English (40 credits) *3 years of Social Studies (30 credits) **1 year of World History **1 year of U.S. History **1 year of U.S. Government/Economics *2 years of Math (20 credits) **All students must pass Algebra or an approved sequence of courses covering the Algebra standard (Ed. Magalia, California
Magalia (formerly Butte Mills and Dogtown) is an Unincorporated area, unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in Butte County, California, Butte County, California, United States. The population was 11,310 at the 2010 census. History Originally established after the 1849 California Gold Rush as a mining camp, the town was first called Mountain View. A dog breeding operation started in 1850 which led to the name Dogtown. A post office opened in 1857, which was shared with the adjacent settlement of Mill City, Butte County, California, Mill City; the two eventually united. In 1861 the name was changed to Magalia after the Latin word for cottages. Ridgeview High School is a public high school located in Redmond, Oregon, United States. Opened in 2012, it is the second high school in the Redmond School District. In athletics the school is a 5A team in the Oregon School Activities Association, competing primarily in the Intermountain Conference with rival Redmond High School. History Voters in the school district approved a $110-million bond measure in 2008 to pay for a new high school and other construction. Construction began in 2011 and the school opened in fall 2012. Clintwood High School
Clintwood High School (CHS) was one of three high schools in Dickenson County, Virginia, United States. It is located in Clintwood, the county seat of Dickenson County. It combined with aysi High Schoolin the 2015–2016 school year to form Ridgeview High School. Athletics Football Clintwood won four state championships in football, three under legendary former head coach Ralph Cummins (1974, 1975, 1978). The fourth was won under former coach Rick Mullins, who played on the 1978 state title team, in 2011. Clintwood played at Ralph Cummins Stadium. Coach Cummins was the head coach of the Clintwood Football team for 35 years; his teams won 271 games, going undefeated in the regular season 10 times.
