Amusement Ride
Amusement rides, sometimes called carnival rides, are mechanical devices or structures that move people to create fun and enjoyment. Rides are often perceived by many as being scary or more dangerous than they actually are. This could be due to the design, having acrophobia, or from hearing about accidents involving rides that are similar. For some, the adrenaline associated with riding amusement rides is part of the experience. They are common at most annual events such as fairs, traveling carnivals, and circuses around the world. Sometimes music festivals and concerts also host amusement park rides. Types of rides * Flat rides are usually those that move their passengers on a plane generally parallel to the ground, such as rides that spin around a vertical axis, like carousels and twists; and ground-level rides such as bumper cars. The term is also used to refer to amusement rides that are not classified as dark rides, rollercoasters, transport rides, or water rides. * ...

Rides (album)
''Rides'' is the third album by the Somerset rock group Reef, released in 1999. The album peaked at No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart. Production Recorded in California, the album was produced by George Drakoulias. Critical reception ''The Guardian'' deemed the album "a characteristic mixture of bluesy riffs and shrieking, with passages of quasi-metal played off against nearly-ballads with acoustic guitars for added 'sensitivity'." ''The Sun Herald'' thought that "Drakoulias's production is workmanlike but it's a frill-free style that sits comfortably with the band's meat 'n' potatoes arrangements." Bridle Path
A bridle path, also bridleway, equestrian trail, horse riding path, ride, bridle road, or horse trail, is a trail or a thoroughfare that is used by people riding on horses. Trails originally created for use by horses often now serve a wider range of users, including equestrians, hikers, and cyclists. Such paths are either impassable for motorized vehicles, or vehicles are banned. The laws relating to allowable uses vary from country to country. In industrialized countries, bridle paths are now primarily used for recreation. However, they are still important transportation routes in other areas. For example, they are the main method of traveling to mountain villages in Lesotho. In England and Wales a bridle path now refers to a route which can be legally used by horse riders in addition to walkers, and since 1968, by cyclists. A "ride" is another term used for a bridleway: "a path or track, esp. one through a wood, usually made for riding on horseback" (''Oxford English Di ...
