Ricky Meinhold
Ricky Meinhold (born March 8, 1986) is an American former baseball pitcher who is currently the pitching coach for the Appalachian State Mountaineers. Meinhold previously served for the St. Louis Cardinals of Major League Baseball (MLB), the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB), the Lotte Giants of the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) and the Missouri Tigers of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Early life Meinhold was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Westmont High School in Campbell, California, and Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Georgia. Meinhold attended West Valley College in Saratoga, California from 2004 to 2006 earning an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities. Coach (baseball)
In baseball, a number of coaches assist in the smooth functioning of a team. They are assistants to the manager, who determines the starting lineup and batting order, decides how to substitute players during the game, and makes strategy decisions. Beyond the manager, more than a half dozen coaches may assist the manager in running the team. Coker University
Coker University is a private university in Hartsville, South Carolina. It was founded in 1908 and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Perth Heat
The Perth Heat is a baseball team in the current Australian Baseball League and a foundation member of the Australian Baseball League. It is now the most successful team in ABL, winning 15 Claxton Shields. Australian Baseball League (1989–1999) Perth Heat won the ABL championship in 1990–91, when Graeme Lloyd pitched the Heat to a Game 5 championship win on the Gold Coast against the Dolphins to take the 3–2 series win. 2010 Claxton Shield Team Rosters
The 2010 Claxton Shield is the 76th edition of the premier baseball competition in Australia, contested between teams representing the five mainland states: New South Wales Patriots, Queensland Rams, defending champions Perth Heat (representing the state of Western Australia), South Australia and Victoria Aces. Prior to the start of the competition, each team nominated 30 players that would be eligible to play over the course of the season. As the season progressed, injuries forced some players to be replaced in these 30–man squads. The Windy City ThunderBolts are a professional baseball team based in the Chicago suburb of Crestwood, Illinois, in the United States. Frontier League
The Frontier League is a professional independent baseball league with teams in the Northeastern and Midwestern United States and Eastern Canada. Formed in 1993, it is the oldest currently running independent league in the United States. The league is headquartered in Sauget, Illinois. In 2020, the Frontier League, together with the American Association and the Atlantic League, became an official MLB Partner League.
