Rickie Haywood Williams
Richard Haywood-Williams is a British radio DJ and television presenter best known for his work with Melvin Odoom and Charlie Hedges on Kiss FM, later BBC Radio 1 and the 2016 TV series '' Bang on the Money'' on ITV. Early life He attended the Riddlesdown High School in Croydon. At 16 he attended the BRIT School, gaining an A level in Media and a BTEC in broadcast journalism. He studied at the University of Bedfordshire, learning the tools of the trade at Luton FM. It was in Luton where he met Melvin and also actor and BBC Announcer Nii Odartei Evans. Career The Kiss 100 Breakfast show signed up Rickie and Melvin Odoom as their new hosts in 2007; then later Charlie Hedges as their co-host in 2009. Croydon
Croydon is a large town in south London, England, south of Charing Cross. Part of the London Borough of Croydon, a local government district of Greater London. Charlie Hedges
Charlotte Hedges is a British DJ and broadcaster, who presents as part of "Rickie, Melvin and Charlie" on BBC Radio 1. Early life Hedges studied journalism at Harlow College. Career Radio presenting Hedges hosted the breakfast show at Kiss for ten years with Rickie Haywood-Williams and Melvin Odoom. The trio are known as Rickie, Melvin and Charlie. In November 2018, it was announced that they would move to BBC Radio 1 to replace Charlie Sloth in the mid-evening slot. Their new show debuted on 1 April 2019. Melvin Odoom is a British radio DJ and television presenter. He is best known for presenting on BBC Radio 1 alongside Rickie Haywood-Williams and Charlie Hedges. Education Odoom attended the University of Bedfordshire and studied a Media Performance degree. It was at Luton that Melvin met and lived with Rickie Haywood-Williams. It was here that he also met actor and BBC voiceover artist Nii Odartei Evans. ''Must Be the Music'' is a British television musical talent competition contested by aspiring singers and musicians drawn from public auditions. The show is a music competition and reality show that was broadcast in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Auditions were held in Edinburgh, Manchester, London and also held in Ireland. The show began airing in August on Sky1, and was also simulcast in HD. Fearne Cotton presented the show. The first and only series was won by Emma's Imagination, a female singer from Dumfries. The winning act received £100,000 to help kick-start their music career.
