Rick Seibold
Rick Seibold ( ; born April 16, 1983) is an American singer and songwriter from Wilmington, North Carolina, now based in Los Angeles. Seibold has received considerable recognition as an independent recording artist from his debut record "That's the Day". He has worked with artists such as Lee DeWyze, David Archuleta, Katelyn Tarver, Kat DeLuna, and Alex Lambert. As a producer, he has received two GMA Dove Awards for his work with Bethel Music. Background Rick Seibold grew up on the East Coast in Wilmington, North Carolina. His music career began around age 10 when he appeared in the film The Road to Wellville as John Harvey Kellogg's son, played by Anthony Hopkins, singing "Silent Night". The Daylights are a defunct alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California that formed in 2004. The trio was fronted by brothers Ran Jackson and Ricky Jackson, with Svend Lerche on Drums. Best known for their song, "I Hope This Gets To You" that was released in December 2010 as a virtual “love letter” on YouTube, it was based on a concept they conceived with their roommate for his long distance girlfriend. Within the first 72 hours, the video was viewed over 1.5 million times. Their self titled album "The Daylights" was released September 14, 2010 on the band's own label, 87th Floor Records. The album spent 5 weeks on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. ''Frames'' is the fifth studio album by Lee DeWyze and the second album that DeWyze has released since he won the ninth season of ''American Idol.'' ''If I Can Dream'' is a webseries that was created by Simon Fuller. The show was not renewed for a second season in 2011. Format The show followed performers who moved into a house in Hollywood, California. The house was wired with 56 AXIS cameras and the footage was broadcast live on the show's website. Each contestant was judged to excel in either one of the creative arts, sport or fashion and the premise of the show was to follow them as they attempted to succeed in their chosen field. As of December 2009, the house was fully prepared and on March 2, 2010, the cast moved in. The television aspect of the show was weekly 30-minute highlight shows airing first through Hulu then later through a traditional broadcast network.
