Richland-Bean Blossom Community School Corporation (RBB) is a public school corporation located in northwestern Monroe County, Indiana, USA. RBB and Monroe County Community School Corporation are the only two school corporations serving the county. RBB serves Ellettsville, Stinesville, Beanblossom Township, and Richland Township. The Richland-Bean Blossom Metropolitan School District was formed in 1963 and became the Richland-Bean Blossom Community School Corporation in 1965. The district is accredited by AdvancED. The district's budget for 2021 was $28.8 million; a $47,121 loss is expected, but it would not impact RBB until the 2024-25 academic year. In 2021, results from the ILEARN test, a standardized exam introduced to the district in 2019, showed that only 31.7% of students were proficient in both math and English, though the value of these statistics were questioned due to the pandemic's effect on learning. Elletsville, Indiana
Ellettsville is a town in Richland Township, Monroe County, Indiana, United States. The population was 6,865 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Bloomington, Indiana Metropolitan Statistical Area. Ellettsville is the starting point for the Hilly Hundred, a two-day bicycle tour. History Ellettsville was platted in 1837. In 1818, Edward Ellett, Sr, and his wife Eleanor settled in what is now known as Ellettsville with their four minor sons: David, Richard, Johnston and Barton. The first winter, they lived in a three-sided log cabin they built. Also settling that year were their two eldest sons, William and Samuel, with their wives and families. Within a few years daughters Sarah, Phoebe and Nancy settled in the area with their husbands. Key Club International, also called Key Club, is an international service organization for high school students. As a student-led organization, Key Club's goal is to encourage leadership through serving others. The mustang is a free-roaming horse of the Western United States, descended from horses brought to the Americas by the Spanish. Mustangs are often referred to as wild horses, but because they are descended from once-domesticated animals, they are actually feral horses.
