Richard Huxford
Richard John Huxford (born 25 July 1969) is an English former professional footballer who made more than 200 appearances in the Football League and the Scottish Football League. His regular playing position was at right back, but he also played as a central defender or in midfield. Playing career Huxford was born in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire. As a youngster he joined Scunthorpe United as an apprentice, but was released without being offered a full professional contract. He played non-league football for several years, for clubs including Matlock Town, Burton Albion – whose manager met Gresley Rovers' interest in Huxford with a demand for a transfer fee, despite suggesting the player would "have to improve a great deal" to find his way into Burton's long-term plans – Gainsborough Trinity, and Kettering Town, for whom he played 103 games in all competitions. Hamed Modibo Diallo (born December 18, 1976) is an Ivorian former professional footballer who played as a forward. Career Professional Born in Zahia, Ivory Coast, Diallo began his career in France, initially in the youth academy of Le Havre, and later playing for Laval, Amiens, Angers, as well as with Al Rayyan in Qatar, Hammarby in Sweden, Turris in Italy, and Excelsior Virton in Belgium. He was the top scorer in the French Ligue 2 twice: in 1999 with Laval, and in 2002 with Amiens. Diallo came to the United States in 2007 to play for Rochester Raging Rhinos in the USL First Division. Dave Tomlinson (footballer)
David Holland Tomlinson (born May 8, 1969) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre. He attended Boston University on a hockey scholarship from 1987-1991. After graduating, he played in the AHL and IHL and also compiled 42 games in the NHL for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Winnipeg Jets and Florida Panthers. He also played for Canada's National Team in various tournaments. After his NHL career, he went on to play 10 years of professional hockey in Europe. Non-League football describes football leagues played outside the top leagues of a country. Usually, it describes leagues which are not fully professional. The term is primarily used for football in England, where it is specifically used to describe all football played at levels below those of the Premier League (20 clubs) and the three divisions of the English Football League (EFL; 72 clubs). A midfielder is an outfield position in association football. Midfielders may play an exclusively defensive role, breaking up attacks, and are in that case known as defensive midfielders.
