Richa Chadha
Richa Chadda (born 18 December 1986) is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films. After debuting in a small role in the comedy film ''Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!'' (2008), Chadda's breakthrough came in 2012 with a supporting role in the noir gangster saga ''Gangs of Wasseypur'', where her role as the bellicose and foul-tongued wife of a gangster earned her a Filmfare award. In 2015, Chadda made her debut in a leading role with the drama ''Masaan'' (2015). Early life and education Chadda was born on 18 December 1986 in Amritsar, Punjab, India into a Hindu family to a Punjabi father and a Bihari mother. Gangs Of Wasseypur – Part 2
''Gangs of Wasseypur – Part 2'' is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language crime film co-written, produced and directed by Anurag Kashyap. It is the second installment of the ''Gangs of Wasseypur'' series centered on the coal mafia of Dhanbad, Jharkhand, and the underlying power struggles, politics and vengeance between three crime families. 65th Cannes Film Festival
The 65th Cannes Film Festival was held from 16 to 27 May 2012. Italian film director Nanni Moretti was the President of the Jury for the main competition and British actor Tim Roth was the President of the Jury for the Un Certain Regard section. Anurag Kashyap
Anurag Kashyap (born 10 September 1972) is an Indian filmmaker and actor known for his works in Hindi cinema. He is the recipient of several accolades, including four Filmfare Awards. For his contributions to film, the Government of France awarded him the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts and letters) in 2013. Richa (), also rendered rucha, refers to a shloka (couplet) or mantra, usually two to four sentences long, found in the Sanskrit religious scriptures, the Vedas. It is a term used to refer to each verse of the Rigveda. Etymology The etymological origin of the richa is the Sanskrit word ''ruc'' (ऋच्), which means ''to praise''. Richa, is therefore, one ruc after the other. Other meanings of ''ruc'' are splendour, worship, or a hymn. Richa can also refer to a verbal composition of celestial sounds called shrutis; the Gayatri Mantra is a rucha as well.
