Ricardo Maurício
Ricardo Maurício (born January 7, 1979) is a Brazilian auto racing, racing driver. He currently drives in the Stock Car Brasil series, which he won in 2008, 2013 and 2020. Prior to this he raced in several European open-wheel racing, single-seater formulae, winning the Spanish Formula Three Championship and recording podium finishes in International Formula 3000. Career Formula Vauxhall/Opel Maurício was born in São Paulo. After some time spent kart racing, he moved up to formula racing in Brazil and won the local Formula Ford championship in 1995. For 1996, he moved to Europe, where he competed in Formula Vauxhall, finishing fourth in the championship. At the end of the year he took part in the 1996 EFDA Nations Cup for Formula Opel cars, representing Brazil alongside compatriot Wagner Ebrahim and taking third place. 1996 EFDA Nations Cup
The EFDA Nations Cup, was a Country vs Country competition for Formula Opel cars between 1990 and 1998. It had always been Dan Partel's dream to stage a race that pitted drivers in equal cars racing for their country. Kart racing or karting is a road racing variant of motorsport with open-wheel, four-wheeled vehicles known as go-karts or shifter karts. Spanish Formula Three Championship
The Euroformula Open Championship (formerly the Spanish Formula Three Championship, European F3 Open Championship) is a junior formula racing series based in Spain. It was one of six national and international Formula Three championships in Europe and Scandinavia that together used to form an important part of the established "career ladder" below Formula One. The championship's first season was held in 2001. In 2006, it was branded as the Spanish F3 Championship by Toyota, in deference to its sole engine supplier. 2012 Brasileiro De Marcas Season
The 2012 Brasileiro de Marcas season was the second season of the Brasileiro de Marcas. It begin on April 22 at the Interlagos and ended on December 2 at the Curitiba, after sixteen races. Several changes occurred in the championship. Mitsubishi entered with the 2012 version of Mitisubishi Lancer GT, Honda changed to the ninth generation Honda Civic, Chevrolet used Chevrolet Cruze which replaced the Chevrolet Astra, and Toyota became an official manufacturer on the championship with Toyota Corolla XRS. The 2002 International Formula 3000 season was the thirty-sixth season of the second-tier of Formula One feeder championship and also eighteenth season under the International Formula 3000 Championship moniker.
