Rhodes Park, also known as Rhodes Skatepark, is a skatepark between 15th and 16th Streets under Interstate 184 in Boise, Idaho, USA. The park is managed by the Boise Parks and Recreation Department and includes skateboarding and parkour challenges. History The park, which bears Glenn Rhodes' name, was first marketed and constructed, and it debuted in 1995. In 2016 the park reopened after a renovation by Grindline Skateparks. Rhodes Park has been featured by ESPN as a pre-qualifier venue for X Games. In 2018 a skateboarder died from injuries from a fall at Rhodes Park. Interstate 184 (I-184) is a short auxiliary Interstate Highway in Boise, Idaho, United States. It is a spur route of I-84 that connects the freeway to Downtown Boise, terminating at US Highway 20 (US 20) and US 26. Route description I-184, also known as the Boise Connector, begins at the "Flying Wye" interchange with I-84 and US 30 in southwestern Boise. The six-lane freeway travels northeast through suburban Boise, crossing over a spur railroad near an interchange with Franklin Street on the south side of the Boise Towne Square shopping mall. It has designed and built over 400 skateparks worldwide, including the largest skatepark in America, Spring Park Texas. History Mark Hubbard was working as a pool-building contractor. Rhabdomyolysis
Rhabdomyolysis (also called rhabdo) is a condition in which damaged skeletal muscle breaks down rapidly. Symptoms may include muscle pains, weakness, vomiting, and confusion. There may be tea-colored urine or an irregular heartbeat. Some of the muscle breakdown products, such as the protein myoglobin, are harmful to the kidneys and can cause acute kidney injury. The muscle damage is mostly caused by a crush injury, strenuous exercise, medications, or a substance use disorder. Other causes include infections, electrical injury, heat stroke, prolonged immobilization, lack of blood flow to a limb, or snake bites.
