Rewind (video)
''Rewind'' is the second rockumentary by Welsh rock band Stereophonics. Released in 2007, it is the band's sixth DVD release. It contains over three hours of live and documentary footage spanning their entire career; from pre-Stereophonics years to their signing to V2 Records in 1996 to 2006. A booklet was also included with the DVD, featuring several previously unseen photographs of the band, from Kelly Jones' own personal photo album. Stereophonics
Stereophonics are a Welsh rock band formed in 1992 in the village of Cwmaman in the Cynon Valley, Wales. The band consists of Kelly Jones (lead vocals, lead guitar, keyboards), Richard Jones (bass guitar, harmonica, backing vocals), Adam Zindani (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Jamie Morrison (drums, percussion) and touring member Tony Kirkham (keyboards). The group previously included Stuart Cable (1992–2003) and then Javier Weyler (2004–2012) on drums. Stereophonics have released twelve studio albums, including eight UK number one albums. A successful compilation album, ''Decade in the Sun'', was released in November 2008 and charted at number two on the UK Album Chart. The Bartender And The Thief
"The Bartender and the Thief" is a song by Welsh rock band Stereophonics, written by the band in April 1998. The song is the second track on their second album, ''Performance and Cocktails'' (1999). "Bartender" was the first single taken from ''Performance and Cocktails'' and was released on 9 November 1998, reaching number three on the UK Singles Chart. The music video features the band playing at Kanchanaburi Province, Thailand, and is based on the Francis Ford Coppola movie ''Apocalypse Now''. "Hurry Up and Wait" is a song by Welsh rock band Stereophonics, released as the fifth and final single from their second album, ''Performance and Cocktails'' (1999), on 8 November 1999. The song reached number 11 on the UK Singles Chart, as did previous single "I Wouldn't Believe Your Radio". It also reached number 23 in Ireland, becoming the band's fifth top-30 hit there. "A Thousand Trees" is the third single released by Welsh rock band Stereophonics. The song is taken from their debut album, ''Word Gets Around'' (1997), and was released on 11 August 1997. It reached number 22 on the UK Singles Chart. "Devil" is the third single from Welsh rock band Stereophonics' fifth studio album, '' Language. Sex. Violence. Other?'' (2005). The song is the fourth track on the album, on which "Brother" fades into this song. On the ''Live from Dakota'' album, prior to playing "Devil", Kelly Jones states the song is "inspired by the movies of Charles Bukowski". The single peaked at number 11 on the UK Singles Chart. Music video The music video for this song shows Kelly Jones in a hotel room, tied to a chair. A woman arrives and appears to be the kidnapper. Soon after, he is taken outside and forced into the trunk of a car that she drives to an unknown place. There are shots of the band performing this song occasionally. "Moviestar" is a single by Welsh rock band Stereophonics. It was the fourth and final single released from '' You Gotta Go There to Come Back'' and the first Stereophonics single released following the sacking of drummer Stuart Cable. The single peaked at number five on the UK Singles Chart, number 26 on the Irish Singles Chart, and number 85 on the Dutch Top 100. Background A demo version of the song was released online in 2003 via the band's official website in a section called "The Place", where people would send a mobile phone text message (costing £1) to receive an access code to download the song in MP3 format.
