Ressa Kania Dewi (born 15 September 1994) is an Indonesian swimmer. She competed in the women's 200 metre freestyle event at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. Swimming is an individual or team racing sport that requires the use of one's entire body to move through water. The sport takes place in pools or open water (e.g., in a sea or lake). Competitive swimming is one of the most popular Olympic sports, with varied distance events in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, and individual medley. In addition to these individual events, four swimmers can take part in either a freestyle or medley relay. A medley relay consists of four swimmers who will each swim a different stroke, ordered as backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle. 2023 Southeast Asian Games
The 2023 Southeast Asian Games ( km, ការប្រកួតកីឡាប្រជាជាតិអាស៊ីអាគ្នេយ៍២០២៣), commonly known as the 32nd Southeast Asian Games, or the 32nd SEA Games, and commonly known as Cambodia 2023, will be the 32nd edition of the Southeast Asian Games, a biennial sports multi-sport event which will be held from 5 to 17 May 2023 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The announcement was made at the SEA Games Federation Council meeting at Singapore, in conjunction with the 2015 Southeast Asian Games, by the President of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia, Thong Khon. The Philippines was originally slated to host the Games, but was pushed forward to 2019 after Brunei withdrew its original hosting rights. Finswimming
Finswimming is an underwater sport consisting of four techniques involving swimming with the use of fins either on the water's surface using a snorkel with either monofins or bifins or underwater with monofin either by holding one's breath or using open circuit scuba diving equipment. Events exist over distances similar to swimming competitions for both swimming pool and open water venues. Competition at world and continental level is organised by the Confédération Mondiale des Activités Subaquatiques (CMAS). The sport's first world championship was held in 1976. It also has been featured at the World Games as a trend sport since 1981 and was demonstrated at the 2015 European Games in June 2015. The 2014 ASEAN University Games, officially known as the 17th ASEAN University Games, was a Southeast Asian university multi-sport event held in Palembang, Indonesia from 11 to 21 December 2014. It was the fourth time Indonesia hosted the games and its first time since 2004. Previously, Indonesia also hosted the 1982 games and the 1990 games. Around 1000 athletes from 11 participating nations participated at the games which featured 226 events in 18 sports. Palembang is the fourth Indonesian city to host the ASEAN University Games after Jakarta in 1982, Bandung in 1990 and Surabaya in 2004. The 2018 ASEAN University Games, officially known as the 19th ASEAN University Games, was a Southeast Asian university multi-sports event which was held in Myanmar from 8 December 2018 to 19 December 2018. This was the first time Myanmar hosted the ASEAN University Games. The 2016 ASEAN University Games, officially known as the 18th ASEAN University Games, was a Southeast Asian university multi-sports event held in Singapore. This was the third time Singapore hosted the ASEAN University Games, and its first time since 1994. Previously, Singapore also hosted the 1986 games.
