Alessandro Resch
Tenente-colonnello Alessandro Resch was an Italian World War I flying ace credited with five confirmed aerial victories (though there is historical evidence of a sixth). After surviving World War I, he would become a pioneering airline captain, flying 500,000 miles between 1928 and 1935. He would return to the Italian Air Force as a major in 1935, rising to ''tenente-colonnello'' by 1939. His participation in World War II is unknown. Jami Resch
Jami L. Resch is the former chief of police of the police bureau of Portland, Oregon, United States. She served in that role from December 31, 2019, until June 8, 2020. Early life and education Resch was born in Montana, and moved to the Beaverton area early in her life. She attended Beaverton High School. She went on to graduate from the University of Portland in 1996 with a bachelor's degree in allied health and a minor in psychology. Career Resch, who originally wanted to become a doctor, joined the Portland Police Bureau in 1999 in a recruiting push that hired 80 new officers. Over the next two decades, Resch rose through the ranks; she was promoted to sergeant in 2008, lieutenant in 2012, and captain in October 2016. Tina Resch
Tina Resch (born October 23, 1969) was a central figure in a series of incidents that came to be called the Columbus poltergeist case. In 1984, alleged telekinesis events at her Columbus, Ohio home drew significant news media interest. A series of color photographs taken by photojournalist Fred Shannon, and published by ''The Columbus Dispatch'', were purported to show Resch sitting in an armchair with a telephone handset and phone cord flying in front of her. Resch's story, and Shannon's photography, were featured on a 1993 episode of ''Unsolved Mysteries''. Skeptics and debunkers pointed out that much of the proclaimed evidence was anecdotal and thin and declared the case to be a hoax. Thomas Resch (1460-1520) was an Austrian Renaissance humanist. He went by the Latin name of Thomas Velocianus. He was a member of a circle of humanists based in Vienna. Ron Resch (Ronald Dale Resch) was an artist, computer scientist, and applied geometrist, known for his work involving folding paper, origami tessellations and 3D polyhedrons. Jutta Resch-Treuwerth (30 April 1941 - 18 February 2015) was a German journalist. She became well known the German Democratic Republic (East Germany) as a marriage and relationship counsellor. Life Jutta Treuwerth was born in the Tiergarten quarter of north-central Berlin during the first part of the war. She was bought up by her grandparents in Berlin-Lichtenberg. As was normal in East Germany at this time, on leaving school she was required to spend a year in industry - in her case employed in the brown coal industry in Lusatia - before progressing to a year's internship at Junge Welt, the daily newspaper that had become the official publication of the FDJ - which was in effect the youth wing of East Germany's ruling Socialist Unity Party (''"Sozialistische Einheitspartei Deutschlands"'' / SED).
