René Eidams
René Eidams (born 8 May 1989) is a German darts player. Career Eidams competed in his first Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) event in January 2014, when he qualified for the German Darts Championship. He lost 6–5 in the first round to Joey Palfreyman. Eidams qualified for the preliminary round of the 2016 PDC World Darts Championship after beating Maik Langendorf 10–8 in the final of the Bulls Superleague qualifier. He averaged just 69.25 against Thailand's Thanawat Gaweenuntawong, but beat him 2–0 in sets and then fell 2–0 down to world number one Michael van Gerwen in the first round. However, Eidams won his first leg of the match with a 122 finish on the bull and then took five of the next six legs to send the match into a deciding set. A tiebreak was required to settle it and Van Gerwen won the two legs he needed to edge out Eidams, who averaged 90.48 during the contest. 2016 UK Open
The 2016 Coral UK Open was a darts tournament staged by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the fourteenth year of the tournament where, following numerous regional qualifying heats throughout Britain, players competing in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament was held for the third time at the Butlin's Resort in Minehead, England, between 4–6 March 2016, and has the nickname, "the FA Cup of darts" as a random draw will be staged after each round until the final. In a repeat of last year's final, Michael van Gerwen beat Peter Wright to retain his title. During the tournament, he also hit a nine-dart finish against the then-unknown Rob Cross in the fourth round. Steve West (darts Player)
Steve West (born 5 June 1975) is an English darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tournaments. He is the younger brother of 2003 World Master Tony West. BDO career West showed signs of a promising career quickly by reaching the final of the 2005 French Open, losing to local Dominique le Roy. He also reached the last 32 of the 2005 World Masters where he lost to Gary Anderson. In 2007, West reached another Open final in the 2007 Dutch Open, one of the BDO's biggest Open tournaments. Amongst his scalps were Dutchmen Co Stompé and Edwin Max before losing in the final to Scott Waites. Following this and three further quarter-finals, he qualified for the 2007 International Darts League, but was knocked out at the Preliminary Group Stage. Adrian Lewis
Adrian Lewis (born 21 January 1985) is an English professional darts player currently playing in the PDC. He is a two-time PDC World Darts Champion, winning in 2011 and 2012. He is nicknamed Jackpot, as he won a jackpot gambling in Las Vegas in 2005, but he was unable to collect the money as he was 20 years old, below the US legal gambling age of 21. During the early part of his career until 2007, Lewis was a protégé of 16-time world champion Phil Taylor, with whom he practised in their home city Stoke-on-Trent. He made his television debut in 2004, aged 19 at the UK Open. In addition to his two world championships, Lewis has won two other PDC majors: the 2013 European Championship and the 2014 UK Open. Peter Hudson (born 20 April 1984) is an English darts player. He joined the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in 2010 but failed to qualify for any of the television majors. James Wilson (darts Player)
James Wilson (born 25 February 1972) is an English darts player who plays in the Professional Darts Corporation. Career BDO Wilson first rose to prominence in 2012 by winning several tournaments, rising to number four in the world and reaching the quarter-finals of the Winmau World Masters. Despite this, he was unseeded on his debut appearance at the World Championship and was drawn against top seed Stephen Bunting in round one, taking a 2–1 lead before eventually losing 2–3. Wilson followed up on his form in 2013, rising to second in the world and reaching the final of the World Masters beating Jan Dekker and Robbie Green en route to a 7–0 loss to Bunting.
