Renu Mandhane
Madam Justice Renu Mandhane is a Canadian jurist and lawyer who was appointed a judge of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice (Brampton) on May 22, 2020. Early life and education Mandhane was born and grew up in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Her parents, Jaman and Nilima Mandhane (an engineer and bookkeeper, respectively), immigrated to Canada from India in the early 1970s. She has one brotherDr. Piush Mandhane who is an associate professor of medicine at the University of Alberta. Mandhane earned a Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, a J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, and a LL.M in international human rights law from New York University School of Law in 2003.
