Renault NN
The Renault NN, generally known to contemporaries simply as the Renault 6 CV, is a compact car or small family car manufactured by Renault from 1924 until 1930. Details and evolutions Powered by a four-cylinder 951 cc engine, the NN was first presented at the 1924 Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris as the successor for Renault Type KJ and Type MT. It was in effect a lengthened version of the MT, with an extra of wheelbase, and the addition of front-wheel brakes. The exterior design was very simple and family-oriented. Renault at this stage still positioned the radiator behind the engine, which meant that there was no grill at the front, but there were prominent "gills" on the sides of the bonnet/hood for cooling purposes. Renault Juvaquatre
The Renault Juvaquatre () is a small family car / compact car automobile produced by the French manufacturer Renault between 1937 and 1960, although production stopped or slowed to a trickle during the war years. The Juvaquatre was produced as a sedan/saloon until 1948 when the plant switched its full attention to the new Renault 4CV. During the second half of 1952 the plant restarted production of the Juvaquatre sedans/saloons for a period of approximately five months. In 1950 a van based station wagon body joined the range; later models of the station wagon (from 1956 on) were known as the Renault Dauphinoise (). The Renault MT is a compact sports car manufactured by Renault from 1923 until 1925. Description The Renault MT was presented in the 1923 Mondial de l'Automobile in Paris. The national licensing authority granted its approval on February 19, 1924. The model replaced the Renault KJ. The project was created and designed by Labourdette and Louis Renault together with the Renault KJ, as a middle-class car with an alternative style for 3 passengers. It was produced in Skiff or boat tail body styles. The car had a water-cooled four-cylinder engine The engine power was transmitted to the rear axle via a Cardan shaft. The top speed was given as 45 km/h to 60 km/h, depending on the gear ratio. The vehicle costed between 15,000 and 17,500 francs depending on the body type. Louis Renault (industrialist)
Louis Renault (; 12 February 1877 – 24 October 1944) was a French industrialist, one of the founders of Renault, and a pioneer of the automobile industry. Renault built one of France's largest automobile manufacturing concerns, which still bears his name. During World War I his factories contributed massively to the war effort, notably so by the creation and manufacture of the first tank of modern configuration, the Renault FT tank. Accused of collaborating with the Germans during World War II, he died while awaiting trial in liberated France toward the end of 1944 under uncertain circumstances. His company was seized and nationalized by the provisional government of France although he died before he could be tried. His factories were the only ones permanently expropriated by the French government.
