Renata Adler (born October 19, 1938) is an American author, journalist, and film critic. Adler was a staff writer-reporter for ''The New Yorker'', and in 1968–69, she served as chief film critic for ''The New York Times''. She is also a writer of fiction. Early life Adler was born in Milan, Italy, to Frederick L. and Erna Adler while they were traveling from Germany to the United States. She has two older brothers. Renata Alt (born 27 August 1965) is a German chemical engineer and politician of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) who has been serving as a member of the Bundestag from the state of Baden-Württemberg since 2017. Renata Fast (born October 6, 1994) is a women's ice hockey player for the Toronto Furies of the Canadian Women's Hockey League. She was a member of the Clarkson Golden Knights squad that captured the 2014 National Collegiate women's ice hockey championship title. She made her debut with the Canada women's national ice hockey team at the 2015 4 Nations Cup, held from November 4–8 in Sundsvall, Sweden. She went on to represent the Canada women's national ice hockey team at the 2016 4 Nations Cup in Vierumäki, Finland, November 1–5. Renata Jaworska (born 1979 in Zwoleń, Poland) is a Polish contemporary visual artist. She lives and works in Düsseldorf and Salem, Germany. Early life and education While still a student of the Józef Chelmoński High School of Fine Arts in Nałęczów, Jaworska visited the exhibition "Znaki, symbolei wizje"(Sings, Symbols and Visions) by Jörg Immendorff at the National Museum in Warsaw in 1998. Renata Elizaveta Kallosh uk, Рената Єлизавета Каллош; born 1943) is Ukrainian-American a theoretical physicist. She is a Professor of Physics at Stanford University, working there on supergravity, string theory and inflationary cosmology. Biography She completed her Bachelor's from Moscow State University in 1966 and obtained her Ph.D. from Lebedev Physical Institute, Moscow in 1968. Recognized for her sense of style, her musicality, and as a remarkable singer-actress, Scotto is considered one of the preeminent singers of her generation.
