The Lucy Show (band)
The Lucy Show was a rock/ new wave band that was formed in London, England, in early 1983. History The band was formed by Mark Bandola (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Rob Vandeven (vocals, bass), with Paul Rigby on drums, under the name "Midnite Movie". Rigby quickly quit, and Pete Barraclough (guitars, keyboards) and Bryan Hudspeth (drums) were added to the line-up,Clarkson, John. ''The Big Takeover'' Magazine, No.65, Fall 2009, pgs. 72 - 74, "The Lucy Show: New Mania" and the band changed name to "The Lucy Show". Bandola and Vandeven, two Canadian-born friends who had moved to England in the late 1970s, shared song writing and lead vocals equally, although the bulk of the early (pre-album) material had been written by Vandeven. New Wave Music

Mania (The Lucy Show Album)
''Mania'' was released in 1986 in the UK and the U.S. on Big Time Records. It was The Lucy Show's second, and final, album. The band changed direction from the richly atmospheric and melancholy '' ...undone'' and aimed for a more upbeat, commercial sound. The album received better critical reviews than the debut album, and sold more copies, topping the CMJ charts in the US and earning some MTV airplay for the music video of the song, "A Million Things". However, Big Time Records went bankrupt, leaving The Lucy Show once again without a label. They continued to tour and record for some time, then called it quits in 1988. In 2005, the Words on Music label issued the album on CD for the first time, adding several bonus tracks. Guitar
The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings.
