Rembau ( Jawi: رمباو; Negeri Sembilan Malay: ''Ghombau''; Chinese: 林茂) is a town that is located in Rembau District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The township is situated about 25 km south from the state capital, Seremban, accessible through highway . Most of the population are farmers, traders, government servants, factory workers and most of the young join the army and police force. Politics Politically, only two out of four state assembly seats in the parliamentary constituency of Rembau, namely Kota and Chembong. The other two seats, Rantau and Paroi are instead administered by the Seremban City Council. Transportation Car Highway is the main thoroughfare serving Rembau town. The Rembau railway station is a Malaysian train station on the West Coast Line, located at and named after the town of Rembau, Negeri Sembilan. The North–South Expressway Southern Route is an interstate controlled-access highway running parallel to the southwestern coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The expressway forms the south section of the North–South Expressway, connecting the states of Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca and Johor. It begins at Seri Kembangan, near the state/territory boundary between Selangor and Kuala Lumpur and travels southwards to end at Pandan-Tebrau in Johor. Paroi is an area in Seremban District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is the eastern suburb of the city of Seremban, comprising many housing estates and villages. Rantau
Rantau (Chinese: 晏斗) is a small town and a mukim in Seremban District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Location Rantau is 16 km south of downtown Seremban, 20 km ENE of Port Dickson and 49 km south-east of Kajang, Selangor. Chembong
Chembong is a mukim in Rembau District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is also the name for the State Assembly of Chembong whose elected representative is YB Tuan Zaifulbahri Bin Idris. In 2010, Chembong had a population of 12,196, consisting primarily of Malay and other Bumiputra ethnic peoples in addition to small Chinese and Indian minorities.
