Řeka
( pl, ) is a municipality and village in Frýdek-Místek District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 600 inhabitants. Polish minority makes up 10.1% of the population. Etymology The name literally means "river". Geography Řeka lies in the historical region of Cieszyn Silesia in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids mountain range. The highest point is the mountain Šindelná at , located on the southeastern municipal border. The Ropičanka stream flows through the municipality. History Řeka was founded in 1644 was formed by the separation from Smilovice and Guty, and originally named ''Řeka smilovská''. It belonged then to the Duchy of Teschen. The village was established as a typical mountain settlement by associating already existing scattered mountain pastures and mountain farms. ''The River'' ( cs, Řeka) is a 1933 Czechoslovakia, Czechoslovak film drama directed by Josef Rovenský. The film was also released with German voiceovers under the title ''Junge Liebe'' in 1934. The film won Best Director Prize at 1934 Venice Film Festival. Production The film was shot in 12 days — 3 days for exteriors and 9 days in the studio. The outdoor scenes were filmed around Poříčí nad Sázavou and in hotel Hubertus in Jíloviště. Reka Devnia Hoard
{{short description, Hoard of Roman coins The Reka Devnia Hoard was the most prolific find of Roman silver coins of the period from 64 to 251 AD to have ever been published. It was found near the town of Devnya (Marcianopolis of Roman Empire), north-eastern Bulgaria. The hoard consisted of 81,044 denarii found in 1929. The earliest coins were those of Marc Antony of which twenty-nine were found, and the latest being one example of Herennius Etruscus. The hoard was broken into two, with 68,783 coins sent to the museum of Sofia, and 12,261 to Varna. The publication of the find has been invaluable to researchers reconstructing a chronological sequence of the era's coinage, and accessing the original volume of production of individual types. Many rare personages were represented in the hoard. The Reka dialect ( mk, Рекански дијалект, ''Rekanski dijalekt'') is a member of the west and north-west subgroup of the western group of dialects of Macedonian. The dialect is mainly spoken on the territory of the region Reka in the north-western part of North Macedonia. Reka (river)
The Reka (literally, 'river' in Slovene), also the Inner Carniola Reka ( sl, Notranjska Reka), is a river that starts as Big Creek ( hr, Vela voda) in Croatia, on the southern side of Mount Snežnik, and flows through western Slovenia, where it is also initially known as Big Creek (). The river is long, of which is in Slovenia. At the village of Škocjan it disappears underground through Škocjan Caves (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), flowing underneath the Slovenian Karst. The river continues as part of the Timavo in Italy. Tracer studies have shown that it also feeds springs elsewhere on the Adriatic Coast between Trieste and Monfalcone. It has a pluvial regime. Upper Reka ( mk, Горна Река, Gorna Reka; ), meaning "Upper river", is a geographic and ethnographic subregion of the broader Reka region of western North Macedonia, including settlements within the upper left portion of the Municipality of Mavrovo and Rostuša and of Gostivar Municipality. The region is home to both a Muslim Albanian community and Christian Orthodox population that self identifies as Macedonians, though with some notable exceptions in past and recent times.
