Reiu
Reiu is a village in Häädemeeste Parish, Pärnu County in southwestern Estonia. It's located just south of the city of Pärnu (about from the city centre), between Pärnu Bay and Reiu river. As of 2011 Census, the settlement's population was 599. The village is passed by the National road 4 (part of E67 or the ''Via Baltica''), and is the starting point of the National road 6 ( Valga–Uulu highway). Reiu is the location of Lottemaa, a theme park inspired by the ''Lotte from Gadgetville ''Lotte from Gadgetville'' ( et, Leiutajateküla Lotte, lv, Lote no Izgudrotāju ciema) is a 2006 Estonian/ Latvian feature-length animated film directed by Heiki Ernits and Janno Põldma. Lotte is a fictional character that appears in an Estonian children's book series and animated film series, the direct-to-DVD '' Lotte's Journey South'' (2000) and theatrical ''Lotte from Gadgetville'' (2006), ''Lotte and the Moonstone Secret'' (2011) and ''Lotte and the Lost Dragons'' (2019). European route E 67 is an E-road running from Prague in the Czech Republic to Estonia and by ferry to Finland. It goes via Prague, Wrocław, Warsaw, Kaunas, Panevėžys, Riga, Tallinn, Helsinki. The route is known as the Via Baltica between Warsaw and Tallinn, a distance of . It is a significant road connection between the Baltic states and Poland. Põhimaantee 4 (ofcl. abbr. T4; also known as Pärnu Highway) is a 192-kilometre-long north-south national main road in Estonia. The route follows the same path as the European route E67, also known as the Via Baltica. The highway starts in Tallinn. From there the main cities passed are Saue, Märjamaa and Pärnu. The highway ends in Ikla at the Latvian border. The road forms a major transport north–south transport route between Estonia and Central/Western Europe. In 2020, the highest traffic volumes were around Tallinn, with the AADT there being around 28,000. These are the second highest figures in Estonia, only being surpassed by the T1 outside Tallinn.
