Reinder Nummerdor
Reinder Aart Nummerdor (born 10 September 1976) is a Dutch volleyball player, who represented his native country at five consecutive Summer Olympics. Two times as a member of the indoor volleyball team in 2000 and 2004, and 3 more times after switching to beach volleyball. Having finished in fifth place in Sydney, Australia he ended up in ninth place with the Dutch Men's National Team four years later in Athens, Greece. He earned a total number of 349 caps, and teamed up with Richard Schuil after the Athens Games for a career in beach volleyball. On 12 May 2007 in Bahrain, the two won their first FIVB World Tour gold medal. They won a silver medal in the same tour on 1 July in Stavanger. Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball. The complete set of rules is extensive, but play essentially proceeds as follows: a player on one of the teams begins a 'rally' by serving the ball (tossing or releasing it and then hitting it with a hand or arm), from behind the back boundary line of the court, over the net, and into the receiving team's court. The receiving team must not let the ball be grounded within their court. The team may touch the ball up to three times to return the ball to the other side of the court, but individual players may not touch the ball twice consecutively. ...

Swatch FIVB World Tour 2007
The Swatch FIVB World Tour 2007 was an international beach volleyball competition. The tour consists of 12 tournaments with both genders and 10 separate gender tournaments. One of the tournaments, was the 2007 Beach Volleyball World Championships in Gstaad, Switzerland. John Hyden
John Hyden (born October 7, 1972, in Tustin, California) is an American volleyball and beach volleyball player. Raised in San Diego, California, where he attended Mt. Carmel High School, Hyden was a member of the United States men's national volleyball team that finished in ninth place at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. A 2-time All American at San Diego State University he was named to 1995 World Cup team and played as an outside hitter. At the 2000 Summer Olympics he finished in 11th place with ''Team USA''. Hyden also plays beach volleyball as a defender. He has been playing several years on the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) circuit, remaining consistently in the top 8 teams. He has had several 2nd-place finishes and got a first-place finish in 2005. 2007 has seen him with many 3rd & 5th-place finishes. Emanuel Fernando Sheffer Rego (born April 15, 1973) is a male beach volleyball player from Brazil, who competed in five consecutive Summer Olympics, starting in 1996. He won the gold medal in the men's beach team competition at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, partnering Ricardo Santos. FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour
The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour (known between 2003 and 2012 as the FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch World Tour for sponsorship reasons) was the worldwide professional beach volleyball tour for both men and women organized by the ' ( FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The World Tour was introduced 1989 for men and in 1992 for women being held yearly since then until 2021. Several tournaments were staged throughout the year. All athletes who competed in the qualifying and main draws of the tournaments earned points in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Rankings, and after the last stage the pair that accumulated the most points during the year was declared the champion of the World Tour (only points from 75% of the tournaments in the season were considered for the ranking). Todd Rogers
Todd Jonathan Rogers (born September 30, 1973) is an American professional beach volleyball player who is an Olympic and FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship gold medalist. He and his former partner, Phil Dalhausser, were the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 AVP Tour champions. Manon Nummerdor-Flier (born 8 February 1984 in Nieuwleusen, Overijssel) is a retired volleyball player from the Netherlands, who plays as an opposite. Career Flier was named Most Valuable Player at the 2007 FIVB World Grand Prix in Ningbo, PR China, where the Dutch national team won the gold medal. Mārtiņš Pļaviņš (born 8 May 1985 in Riga) is a Latvian beach volleyball player. He teamed up with Aleksandrs Samoilovs in 2004.
