Peter Reichel
Peter Reichel (born 30 November 1951) is a German former professional footballer who played as a right-back. Reichel was born in Gießen. He signed a professional contract at Eintracht Frankfurt in 1970. On the first matchday he debuted in the Bundesliga and became immediately a regular. In 1974 and 1975 he won the DFB-Pokal trophy. In 1979, an invalidity stopped him to continue his career at the ''Eagle'' squad and he subsequently could only carry on in the reserve team. Totally he amounted 225 Bundesliga appearances, netting nine times. Bundestrainer Helmut Schön capped him twice for Germany. Reichel/Pugh is a yacht design company based in San Diego, California, United States. It is led by John Reichel and Jim Pugh. Since the late 1990s, Reichel/Pugh-designed yachts have successfully competed in many major races, including the America's Cup. Their designs currently hold the course records for a number of the best-known yacht races, such as the Sydney-Hobart race. Verena Reichel (21 March 1945 – 9 February 2022) was a German literary translator. Bilingual from childhood, she later studied Scandinavian literature, German literature, and theater. Since 1972, she has worked as a freelance translator from Swedish, Norwegian, and Danish. She has published more than 60 volumes of translations from Swedish, including three by Ingmar Bergman, six by Henning Mankell, and four each by Märta Tikkanen and Torgny Lindgren. Robert Reichel
Robert Reichel (born June 25, 1971) is a Czech former professional ice hockey centre and coach. He began his career with HC Litvínov of the Czechoslovak First Ice Hockey League; his 49 goals in 1989–90 was the second highest total in Czechoslovakian history. Reichel played 11 National Hockey League (NHL) seasons for the Calgary Flames, New York Islanders, Phoenix Coyotes and Toronto Maple Leafs. In 830 career NHL games, he scored 252 goals and 378 assists for 630 points. He also played with the Frankfurt Lions of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). He ended his player career in 2010 in HC Litvínov, where he served as captain of the team. Internationally, Reichel represented Czechoslovakia and later the Czech Republic on numerous occasions. Manfred Reichel
Manfred Reichel (1896–1984) was a Swiss micropaleontology, micropaleontologist best known for his work on the morphology of foraminiferans, especially Alveolinidae, alveolinids. He taught as a professor at the University of Basel for almost forty years, where he became the school's first professor of paleontology in 1940. Lukas Hottinger studied under him during this time. Trained in zoology, Reichel also had a keen interest in the flight mechanics of birds, pterosaurs and bats, about which he published several papers. Reichel was also an accomplished artist, and his heavily detailed style lent itself well to illustrating complex foraminiferal structures. Achim Reichel
Achim Reichel (born 28 January 1944) is a musician, producer, and songwriter from Hamburg, Germany. He is known for his 1991 hit single ''Aloha Heja He'', and serving as the frontman for the 1960s beat group The Rattles, who, among other achievements, were selected to open for The Beatles on their last tour of Europe in 1966. In 1968, he co-founded the psychedelic pop group Wonderland, which also included English ex-patriate Les Humphries who would soon start his own Les Humphries Singers. In 1971, Reichel left the group for his own progressive Krautrock solo project, ''A. Lukas Reichel (born May 17, 2002) is a German professional ice hockey left winger currently playing for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL). Playing career Reichel played as a youth in the German Development League (DNL) with Starbulls Rosenheim and within the Eisbären Berlin organization.
