Bishop Reginald Thomas Jackson (born April 26, 1954, Dover, Delaware) is the 132nd elected and consecrated bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Jackson is the husband of Christy Davis-Jackson, Esquire and the father of two children, daughter Regina Victoria Jackson and son Seth Joshua Jackson. Jackson received a bachelor's degree in history from Delaware State University (Dover, Delaware) and a Masters of Divinity from the Interdenominational Theological Center (Atlanta, Georgia). Reginald Jackson (Australian Politician)
Reginald Stanley Jackson (12 December 1897 – 16 August 1969) was an Australian politician. He was born in Burwood to builder William Jackson and Harriet Cramp. He attended school locally and worked for the Hendersons confectionery company. From 1916 to 1917 he served in Gallipoli and France with the 53rd Battalion, but was invalided home. He returned to the confectionery trade, and on 15 November 1919 married Isabel Valentine, with whom he had a daughter. He had been a Labor Party member since 1914, and was also closely involved in the Federal Confectioners Association, serving as state secretary and federal president from 1940 to 1969. From 1950 to 1969 he was a Labor member of the New South Wales Legislative Council. Reginald Jackson (5 April 1913 – 5 August 1989) was an Australian police officer and Chief Commissioner of Victoria Police from 1971 to 1977. Police career Early career Jackson joined Victoria Police in 1934 and served for 44 years, including postings at Mildura, Malvern and South Melbourne as well as the Breaking Squad and the Stolen Motor Vehicle Squad. He was appointed Inspector in 1961 and made responsible for police public relations. In 1963 he was appointed Assistant Commissioner and in 1969 Deputy Commissioner. ''Mayurpankh'' is a 1954 Indian film directed by Kishore Sahu. It was screened in the 1954 Cannes Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Grand Prize of the Festival. The choreography of the Kathak dance in it was by Shirin Vajifdar, a pioneering Parsi dancer. The film is in colour. Plot The film is in part narration by the protagonist and part dialogue. Famous British author Joan Davis goes to India with her boyfriend and encounters Ranjit Singh, a game hunter, in the jungles of India. They fall in love but Joan discovers that Ranjit is married. They meet again in Jaipur at Ranjit's palace, during Ranjit's sister's wedding and Joan meets his wife Shanti. They immediately start liking each other. Reginald Martinez Jackson (born May 18, 1946) is an American former professional baseball right fielder who played 21 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City / Oakland Athletics, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees, and California Angels. Jackson was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993. Jackson was nicknamed "Mr. October" for his clutch hitting in the postseason with the Athletics and the Yankees.
