Regina Baff
Regina "Regie" Baff is an American actress. She was nominated for a Tony Award in 1974 for '' Veronica's Room''. Career Regina Baff appeared in ''The West Side Waltz'' with Katharine Hepburn. She also appeared on film, starring in ''Below the Belt'' (1980) about lady wrestlers (not the porno movie by the same title) and ''Road Movie'' (1974), a film by Joseph Strick about a truck hooker (not the Korean film by the same title). Her other films included '' Who Is Harry Kellerman and Why Is He Saying Those Terrible Things About Me?'' (1971), '' The Paper Chase'' (1973), ''The Great Gatsby'' (1974), '' Butch and Sundance: The Early Days'' (1979) and '' Escape from Alcatraz'' (1979). ''Made for Each Other'' is a 1971 American romantic comedy film directed by Robert B. Bean. Both starring and written by the husband and wife team of Renée Taylor and Joseph Bologna, the film traces the relationship of Pandora and Giggy, a seemingly incompatible couple who meet in a group therapy session and fall in love. Jacob's Pillow is a dance center, school and performance space located in Becket, Massachusetts, in the Berkshires. The organization is known for a Summer dance festival. The facility also includes a professional school and extensive archives as well as year-round community programs. The facility itself was listed as a National Historic Landmark District in 2003. Ella Baff was the Senior Program Officer for Arts and Cultural Heritage at the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation in New York City until 2018. Previously, Baff was the Executive and artistic director of Jacob's Pillow, a 225-acre historic site that encompasses an international dance festival, professional school, archives, exhibits, artist residencies, public venues, and education and community programs. Under her leadership, the organization was designated a National Historic Landmark and was awarded the National Medal of Arts from President Barack Obama at the White House.
